Tony Scarboni
I have ordered the Meprolight sights for my M4. The problem is I can't find any info or instruction to remove the rear sight. I'm sure it is something simple needing only a screwdriver or the rim of a shell. Any help will be appreciated.
Atrox-Venator
All you need is a flat-head screwdriver: 1) Turn the windage screw in a counter-clockwise motion until it comes off. 2) Push the rear sight blade slightly to the right to fight the spring tension, and then pull it out the rear sight assembly. 3) Remove the tension spring, if it didn't pop off in the previous step that is. 4) Place the tension spring in the slot on the right side of your Meprolight rear sight blade and insert them in the rear sight assembly. 5) Turning the windage screw in a clockwise motion, drive it through the tension spring and into the rear sight blade. Adjust windage as desired. You're done! Edited May 25, 2011 by Atrox-Venator Spelling
