tucker301 Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 Both lengths are too short to achieve optimal pressures and velocities from the given caliber, so that's not a factor. What's left is a question of whether you want a slightly higher muzzle velocity and better downrange trajectory, or a shorter barrel for easier handling in heavy cover. If you're staying in NC, I'd say go with the shorter barrel. If you're going to NM to elk hunt, consider the longer one. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
