Crio tubes for SBE II

I am new to the Benelli Forums, and recently purchased my first Benelli. I have a couple of questions, I have read on other forums where people have had problems with steel shot "swelling the tube in the barrel", So I am wondering what is the largest steel shot I can safely shoot thru the factory tubes, and has anyone one else had this problem. Do I need an extended tube? I appreciate any and all help! Thanks Orphan

What Tucker said.

The most common cause of choke bulging is very tight extended chokes like .655 Terrors and very large hard shot like steel BBB's.

As far as 'needing' an extended tube, that's pretty much up to you.

I am able to produce much better patterns with various extended tubes in various situations.
