Talon Posted February 9, 2005 Share Posted February 9, 2005 I hunt gray squirrel with a Rem 1100 LT-20 all the time (with an Imp. Cyl. fixed choke) and I generally use 2 3/4" shells with number 6 shot. For cottontail rabbits, I suppose shot size and choke would be determined by how FAST the rabbit is moving and how THICK the cover is.
