Drundel Posted December 26, 2003 Share Posted December 26, 2003 Nova comes in 3 1/2 inch at no extra charge, has a chrome lined barrel, has a molded stock/ reciever, has sling mounts, has capability for a mercury recoil reducer, has a shell cut off switch, has an easy disassembly of the action (two pins knocked out with the barrel endcap tool and the action drops into your hand), has a fiber optic type front "bead" has a second bead on the rib. jerneedog Posted December 27, 2003 Share Posted December 27, 2003 Well...I have always loved the 870 and I was in the market for one and then the guy behind the counter handed me the Nova and as soon as I put it against my shoulder...I knew this was the right one! Like Drundel mentioned, all that comes with the Nova which is a bonus! I still like 870's but, I'm hooked on Benelli now! I would go with the Nova, I have a 870 Wingmaster with a full choked barrel and I love shooting it as well as my new Nova. Hope you find what works best for you!
