jimmyn75
Does anyone have an idea of what caliber's are planned for 2004 for the new R-1 rifle? Also prices for the extra barrels? I finally got mine out shooting last weekend and have to say that it is a dream to shoot. I have the 30-06 and was shooting 150 grain deer loads. The gun kicks less than my Montefeltro shooting trap loads. Very accurate too for a high power autoloading rifle. I like everything about it, and would like to get more use from it with a smaller caliber. PS... I did not like the scope mount that came with it. I have found that you can use the same bases as the Browing BAR. Makes the final product look much nicer.
Bill3508
The new caliber will be .308, not sure when barrels will be available though. Rifles should be available after the first of the year. Bill3508
Plateau Hunter
Will Benelli offer the R1 in .358 Win? This would be a perfect match in that rifle and I would buy one! What is the cost of the standard R1? Plateau Hunter
Mossberg Man
The price is about $
Bill3508
Due to the limited popularity of autoloading rifles, as will all other manufactures, Benelli will more than likely stick with standard calibers. I do not see a 358 anywhere in the future. Bill3508
