  1. Today
  2. Hi all, I’ve had my nova for close to two years and I’ve recently gotten in to turkey hunting, and I would like to install a red dot or reflex of some sort. Is there any rail or mount I can install?
  3. yes it’s to bare metal. But it’s only the cerakoted finish that wears. The metal is not scratched at all. I’ll keep it oiled and maybe after it has break in correctly i’ll send it getting milled and dlc coated. The "cheaper" finish will be a thing from the past. Thanks for the answer!
  4. If it ain’t broke… seriously though if it’s running well for 500 rounds so far I wouldn’t be concerned. If the finish is wearing off in spots and you start to see corrosion then I would come back to this. I’m sure Benelli would make it right. in the end these are tools. Even if they are beautiful Italian tools and they are going to take some hits as you use them for their intended purpose. It’s hard to tell from the pics and lighting but is the finish wear on the bolt down to bare metal?

  6. Big thank you! I’m new to guns and it’s also a first for me to spend that much money on something like this. I’ll learn to see wear forming on it through the years of use.
  7. Looks normal to me, here’s my old M4 with thousands of shell through it
  8. in fact i think it’s the chrome that is chipping of the part of the barrel that goes in the receiver…
  9. Hey guys! I’m new to the M4 familly and i have a quick question. Is it normal to see that kind of wear on the bolt carrier? I’ve never seen any other M4 like this. It rubs against the part of the barrel that goes into the receiver. I don’t feel anything when passing my nail on any of these wearing spots so i think it’s only finish that wears off. I have to say that i love the gun and it works really good. I’ve shot around 400 rounds of target loads and another 100 of buckshot without any malfunction. I’m curious because it’s my first gun and i don’t know much in the subject. Thank you in advance!

  11. Good thread idea. I too have been holding out for a used one... but no one gives them up. @RxArms hint hint.
  12. Hey all, just joined the M4 club (11703)and was looking for some essentials. Looks like I came a little late to the party because it seems like the most popular mount solution isn't available anymore. I liked the simplicity and convenience of the IWC scout mount as well as the low profile attachment for QD and light. Do any of you have recommendations for similar mounts? Couldn't find a running thread so hopefully I didn't miss it, still learning the site. Thanks!

  14. Anyone have one of these bad boys and is willing to part with one please let me know.
  15. Still on the Hunt for one if someone want to sell one. Payment readyby paypal.
  16. Let us know if you may need instructions on how to replave your extractor.
  17. Thanks for the input. As for release date, looking like the fall at this point. I think I can bring the cost down more but I’m not ready to say what final pricing will be. I’m also able to get the RMR mount down in price as well, much less than others on the market.
  18. A wave washer is probably the best option IMO. Any rough idea on cost or timeline till release? Really looks sharp!
  19. Got a question for yall. With the newer update design on this, I had to move the bracket to attach at the front mag tube to address some issues of the last iteration. currently I am planning to supply a wave washer for under the mag cap to keep mag cap tension, which does work just fine without issue. Ive also been brain storming alternative methods for the past month with little headway to keep tension on the front mag cap. Older Remington 1100s used to use wave washers for their cap, so it has been done in the past. At this point there doesn’t appear to be another path to take but it hasn’t stopped me from thinking about it day and night for the past month. I’m wondering for those that are wanting this heatshield, what are your thoughts on the wave washer? At this point I think I need community feedback, I don’t think there is another method that will be better than the wave washer (the mounting bracket covers the detent), and it is the last piece of the puzzle stopping me from going into production.
  20. After a ton of searching I ended up going with the Agency rail for my Benlleli M2. Should be here this weekend, it was expensive so I hope I like it.
  21. This also allows you to swap ammo. Say your gun is loaded with buckshot but you needed a slug quick. Eject the chambered buckshot by cycling the bolt back, drop the slug on the lifter and let the bolt fly home. ETA: Sorry to resurrect such an old thread...

  23. I have this M2 and it routinely fails to extract dummy rounds and live ammunition alike. Also, when it does manage to grab the shells from the chamber, the ejector either misses the shell entirely and I end up rechambering it, it flips backwards, or maybe it will kick it out of the receiver sometimes. The tension on the extractor feels really light compared to my M4 so I was thinking about replacing the spring and maybe the extractor as well. There isn't an unusual amount of play in the bolt head but who knows because the inertia M2 and gas M4 bolts may not be appropriate comparisons. As for the ejector, I'm guessing that if the tension is really light on the extractor, it's not keeping the shell in position to be ejected so hopefully that doesn't also need replaced. Has anyone had a similar issue and resolved it without sending the gun in? I started an RMA for service so it's probably going in anyway but if I can just buy a new spring and fix it myself, I'd rather do that than have to ship the gun and wait who knows how long.
  24. @BigPaul13, I don't think I'd give a lot for your older (fine threaded magazine), but I might be interested in a spare for my pair of older M3's if you plan on selling.
  25. Benelli Crio barrel 12g heavily corroded from inside. My gun is brand new. Shot 2 seasons. 3 weeks every season. Cleaned it the first time and stored it in a gun closet. Next season, shot 3 weeks, left it for one month then came to clean it and was surprised by seeing the corrosion in the chamber. How a chromed crio barrel can get corroded that easily??? Isn t this considered a manufacturing defect that Benelli shall assume responsibility. Shots I used 28g,bearely you could see the barrel dirty. Thnx for your help
  26. Looks like I’ll need to get one of these limited edition A300 Ultima Patrols in Multicam: To sit next to this guy:
  27. I have heard good reviews about the Briley triggers, you have to send them your whole housing so they can fit it for you. I thought about it, but chose instead to go with an OEM aluminum trigger guard, some Wolff trigger group springs for reliability, I didn't change any pull weights. And I lucked up on a Geissele hammer and threw that in. Thats it, I don't plan on doing anything else to it other than shooting it alot to smooth the action out. But if I had to recommend any kit, I'd go with Briley based on the feedback I've heard from people who actually use them.
