I'm a fan of the padded QD slings from BlueForceGear. Sewn in QD sockets are nice. Fewer connectors to hang up on things. I'm a fan of the wrap around style. It really helps limit how much the shotgun tries to roll away from your body when you're hands off. The adjustment strap is firm but easy to use for changing your length. They don't give you any directions on how to use the adjustment. I found the best way is to set it so that when you tighten the strap, the gun is held firmly to your body. You won't be able to shoulder it until you release the slack. This allows you to tighten it against your back or pack without it trying to swing in front of you while you're tasking or hiking. You can even cinch it tight to your chest in front. It'll depend how you're carrying. If the sling is over your right shoulder, it's more for carrying in the front of you. If the sling is over your left shoulder, it's more for behind you. This is for a right handed user, reverse for a lefty.

Federal 00 buck or slugs are running at 2 bucks a shot +/-. You know what they call a shotgun without ammo ? A bat. I bit my tongue and paid the fiddler. $499.00 for 250 rounds of Federal deep penetrator slugs. Because I didn't have any.

I forgot to mention in my last post about the shop with the expensive ammo ,that he also an M4 That i would guess is a LE model. It has the fully adjustable stock & plus 2 extension. I didn't even bother to ask how much he was asking for that. I think he caters to a lot law enforcement people.

I going to test my M4 out at the range tomorrow after installing some mods. I hit 4 local gun stores today looking for 12ga slugs. Only found two boxes of Federal at the last small mom and pop store I went to. And they would only sell me one of the boxes?. Going to be a short test tomorrow.......
