[nova shotgun]

Try to shoot one with 3.5 load and then decide. Some people can handle the recoil different.

 

I'm 5'8" and 200 and the recoil doesn't bother me. I let a guy who his 6'2" and 280 shoot it, he said thanks but no thanks.

Nova comes in 3 1/2 inch at no extra charge, has a chrome lined barrel, has a molded stock/ reciever, has sling mounts, has capability for a mercury recoil reducer, has a shell cut off switch, has an easy disassembly of the action (two pins knocked out with the barrel endcap tool and the action drops into your hand), has a fiber optic type front "bead" has a second bead on the rib. The 870 doesn't have ANY of these features.

Hmm... not sure what to make of the stuff in the stock. I can see they used the nova sling mount in the stock (i liked it better than the SBE anyway). The barrel and receiver look the same to me. Now the forearm is really different and the end cap.

 

I really need to swing one. I like the narrow forearm on the SBE.

Too much gun for a nine year old. Not only will the recoil be more then he can handle but its a big gun.

 

Look at a ladies or youth model or the 391, its a kitten.

Another brand: Xcoil is made by hivizsights.com, but I think you'd have to grind to shape the pad to fit properly. I did for my TC Encore and its nice!

What do you think of the xcoil? I think I am gonna get one once I get my SBE.

Does anyone know if the round bolt handle from the M4 will fit in a SBE?
