  1. Well good to hear. I never could get my R1 to group (2 1/2") at it's very best. Most of the time 4 1/2". So are you retired up there or did you live there all your life? I'm thinking of places to live in retirement. Ca. is not where I want to retire!

    Thanks

  2. Yes, that goes for me also, stid2677, I think Bennelli should pay you for what you've done for them here. I'm sure that's not what it's about for you, but you've done a lot for the sport of hunting and Benelli with your storys and pictures.

  3. I can't believe what I'm seeing. My R1 did the same thing with not reloading the first time out after 20 rounds and has not worked right after. How long did it take the piston to look like this?

  4. Mike, I have one in 308 and had the same problem as you and my gun has the new barrel but. I'll sell you mine cheap! One time it shoots great then clean it and it's off the paper. Then it won't cycle! So let me know. I just need to send it back I guess.

I could walk the bullets up the target by tightning the fore end. I sold it but liked the guns handling over a BAR. Have there been any internal changes in the last two years that would warrent me trying another one in .308?
