[Model Features Confusion]

Yeah, there is a +2 Mag extension (the extra length on the tube under the barrel) which threads on to the existing tube.

 

Apparently it is an accessory which can be ordered from Benelli, however you need a shop to order it (can't order from Benelli yourself.)

I think Benelli won't sell you a barrel directly.

You need to have a "Shop" order the barrel from Benelli on your behalf.

Is it possible to "shim" the Pistol Grip version for the M2 Tactical?

 

 

The reason:

 

I have ordered the pistol grip stock but will be losing my comfortech fully adjustable in the swap - the adjustable drop is a feature I'd like to keep (cast on/off is great too).

heh... you're correct... it doesn't matter - however, it would have had I done all the work.

(I originally wanted to buy a camouflage kit to paint it)

 

It turns out that the M2 Field is indeed painted... a powder coat - probably baked on.

 

I just left it at the gunsmiths to have him Gun-Kote it no longer a concern for me.

Curious questoin... I am looking at the M2 Field right now... I can't tell if it is a powder paint or anodized?

 

I am thinking paint of somekind... can someone confirm?

 

Also, what would be the best way to remove it if I wanted to have the receiver anodized.

Doesn't the Benelli Usa site say they tested the plastics at like -30C and put thousands of rounds through it?

Hi,

 

I've had my M2 Field for nearly 1 month and have had a horrible time trying to find accessories for it.

 

There are two items I am searching for:

 

1) 2 Shot mag-tube extension (part#/link for what I'd need would be great!)

 

2) 18.5" or 21" barrel(part#/link for what I'd need would be great!)

 

So, my question is:

 

Which Benelli Shotgun is parts interchangeable with the M2 Field? (i.e. M1 Field, M1 Tactical, M1 Super 90, SBE II, etc.)

 

It's been hard looking for parts as every place seems to list everything "BUT" the M2 Field.

I have a torque wrench... in ft/lbs please

 

I have tightened it to 10 ft/lbs and I am afraid that if I do more than that it will break/crack.
