  1. That Eotech+magnifier is amazing, at 50M putting a mag full through the 10 ring is a snap.
  2. The Golden pheasant is going to the taxidermist, the first one I have ever seen in the wild and it wasn't a pin raised bird.
  3. A new Wilson to keep the other one company and my first AR. Not Benelli's but a lot of fun.

  7. I friend of mine went to Argentina a couple years ago with his several year old SBE, he shot a boat load of shells (2000 plus a day) he lost a pin out of the gun, they cut off a drill bit that was the right diameter, stuck it in the hole and kept firing for another few days. Post photos when you return, safe travels and hunting
  8. For an upland type gun these guys are worth a call. We always stop by when making the pilgrimage to pheasant hunt. http://www.garysgunshop.com/ContactUs.aspx
  9. Price wise this is about the best I have seen. Think I'll give them a try. http://store.rogerssportinggoods.com/servlet/-strse-Ammunition-cln-Remington-Steel/Categories
  10. So true, learned something today. Thanks Sgt.
  11. I have a set of Carlson extended chokes in .715 and .705 have not had any problems, the folks at Carlson are first rate in customer service terms, they answer the phone, none of this "dail ## for" and they will answer your questions.
  12. Give Briley a try. http://www.briley.com/
  13. My wife and I went to Spearficsh SD for a few days, while visiting a museum in Pierre SD saw a 14ga side by side, thought the sign was a mistake until I did a little research. Sure enough, there were 14ga’s.
  14. Is the carrier drop button pushed all the way in and staying in? One tine I wrestled with my SBEII bolt until I figured out it the button was not staying pushed in.
  15. http://www.marksgunsearch.com/inventory/page/1/ Marks Outdoors has a few.
  16. It looks like what I have will work. PM me your address and I will get it out to you.
  17. I have a couple Nova recoil pads I picked up in a closeout grab bag. Don't know which ga they fit. If you post the measurement of the pad that fits your gun and if one of mine fits I'll send it to you to get it off my work bench.
  18. Tucker Nice looking gun, what pattern is that?
  19. If not chained to my desk at work. Cutting the grass, painting the house, bass fishing and punching holes in paper with my 45 ACP's.
  20. Never have had a choke stuck shooting houndreds of rounds (BB's - #6) lead, steel, copper plated ect. Always cleaned the gun and chokes threads and used choke lube.
  21. Talking with the Benelli marketing manger at the SHOT Show he shared that about 10% of the population shoots left handed and less than 10% of shotgun sales are 20 ga it doesn't make since. So if you are looking for a 20 ga M2, do like the rest of us left handers do. Buy a left handed 12 ga or buy a 20 ga and have the safety flipped around.
  22. Your best bet is to call CS, you might be on hold for a while but when I called to get a replacement recoil pad for my SBE II they took care of me. It was worth the time on hold.
  23. Try this one for your M1 http://www.limbsaver.com/2010/products/firearms/recoil_pads/index.php#precision
  24. The wife and I just got back from an evening walk (the 8 inches of snow has melted) and show 4 Golden Eyes on the neighborhood pond, along with the dozen residence geese.
