  1. Got my trigger group back from Briley. The stock trigger averaged 6.7 lbs. The Briley trigger averages 5.5 lbs. I was hoping it would be lighter than that. Travel and reset are very short, which is desirable. I had an issue with their customer service which was supposed to be remedied with a credit back to my credit card. It has been over a week and I have not seen the credit show up yet.

I will try to post some photos in the next few days. The battery in my camera is currently dead.

    Hey Mike,

I might be reading too much into this, but it sounds like you are bummed out with the results. Is it not worth the money?

  2. Wow you are super anal, I was like that too. I finally realized that life is short and you should use the crap out of your equipment. I had safe queens that I pulled out and now have all kinds of nicks, scratches, and holster wear. I am much happier now that I don't worry about that stuff.

I think you should try to get over this because its holding you back from enjoying your equipment. Just think about people who passed away with collections they never got to shoot. More often than not, these collections get sold to people who just don't care and shoot the crap out of the firearms.

  3. Benelli M4 accessories:

Sidearmor 6-shell carrier with picatinny rail: $115 + shipping

The carrier was installed, but in excellent condition - comes with all hardware.

Urbino Stock w/ Cheek Riser: $115 + shipping

The stock is brand new; however, I cant find the original screw so I am using one from a previous install. There is nothing wrong with it, I just want full disclosure.

    Looking for trades:

    .223 ammo (M855 preferred)

    Surefire LED lights

  4. Sidearmor suggested to use the original factory screws.

I tried it, and they seemed to work fine without anymore stripping.

But...just like with the original factory rail + screws, all 5 screws get very loose after shooting heavy loads (I shot about 50 slugs over the weekend and I had to retighten the screws).

I think this is causing my accuracy to be lower than expected, since I'm using an optic for targeting.

Does anyone else have this problem with either factory or other rail systems? What should I do?

I used blue loctite multiple times, but it seems to have no effect at all and the screws come loose just as fast.

Yup, it is happening to me and I am thinking about selling my Side Armor and going with KIPS instead.

  5. I purchased a Sidearmor rail for my M4 and its great, but its coming loose after 80 rounds which is not acceptable.

I was using blue Loctite on the screws to secure it, but it doesn't seem to be holding up.

Am I not using enough blue Loctite, or should I be using the red Loctite?
