  1. Im pretty interested in taken that off your hands. im out in the Los Angeles County Area, Close to Magic Mountain...............Condition ? ........

Hi, as it says on Calguns, its 99% as it has the tiny visible nick. Its been through one SG class (about 150 shells). PM me if you are interested, preferably via Calguns as I check that with frequency. Thanks again.

    Thanks everyone:)

  3. .....I thought about getting the convultated egg type foam becauese I frequently change my stocks. Will that foam obsorb oil worse than the closed cell foam? ........

Closed Cell Polyethylene Foam absorbs nothing! All the others do depending on how spongey they are. The CCP foam cuts easily with even a serrated kitchen knife:) Good luck with your new project!

  4. Munger I really like your case. Is it a pelican 1720? Did you cut the foam yourself?

    Many Thanks!

Yes on both counts. It's the Pelican Closed Cell Polyethylene Foam (expensive but it does not absorb gun oils and cuts better IMHO). You likely already have a favorite source, but here is a link for the APP-1720GUN-2PE http://www.casesbypelican.com/app-1720.htm (closed cell is the bottom of the page).

  5. ...........My came in the box, not the plastic case. It also did not come with any choke tubes, but did come with a choke tube wrench.

Are everyone else's coming this way too? My dealer told me that all the other M4 prior to the "Obamination" came in cases with different choke tubes. I pre-ordered it in November for $1,500 out the door which included taxes, shipping, and transfer. Just got it in on the 20th of this month.

I ordered mine back in 07, it came in a box and had no chokes. However, the dealer told me they were supposed to be there, called Benelli and they were sent to my ASAP. You can see what they sent me in the lower left (nice little lidded tubes:)..............call Benelli.

  6. Although I doubt this clears anything up for you, Benelli USA part 81041 [sTOCK STD M1014/M4S90 RILSAN] looks like this......

    FieldStock-Hole.jpg

There are no threads at the aperture but there is an approximately 1.5" bolt sticking straight up from the bottom of the aperture, about 11" down the tube (cant get an image of it with my lens on hand), that screws into the end of the gun (like attaching and ARFX to the buffer tube on an AR15).

Good luck and hope that helps a little!

  7. Wow I have a Tactical super nova and it is just fine , no more loose than a Rem. 870 pump. I love my glock/ benelli shotgun!:D

Thats kinda what I figured, they must have a bad one on display. You can rotate it with your thumb and forefinger. I will have to find another one in stock some where to test (had to drive an hour to look at that one:(

    Thanks for the response.

  8. I have an M4 which I like but want to get a nice pump gun as well. I went to a local shop that had an M3 Convertible, FNTPS, SuperNova Tactical and loads of different 870's. The SuperNova's forehand seemed incredibly loose, loud and wobbly compared to every other pump. I left empty handed but am still looking.

Is this how they all are or do they have a bunk one?. If this is normal, are there any aftermarket forhands that may reduce this?

    Thanks,

  9. Im looking for a plain ol' field stock for my M4S90.

The retractable PG stock that it came with is uber-tacticool, but I have never liked using a PG stock in 3-gun shoots.

Also, does anyone have a Pic of a M4s90 with a plain stock?

I just added one to my M4 accessories (now I have all 3 stocks). I called Benelli and they directed me to a vendor that was a bit less $$ than the one listed (I got the last one in their inventory so call Benelli).

  10. Im not sure if this covers your question, but this is what I was practicing at a tac shotgun class during malfunction drills, (of course I was the only one not using an 870 pump so it took longer for me), and please anyone with a better procedure please chime in!

    1. Guns tube is fully loaded but nothing in the chanber. Push the Shell Release Button (pn#076j) and pull back the Bolt Handle (pn#030j) and your ready to fire.

    2. If you need to empty the gun quickly (as in a malfunction drill) Push the Shell Release Button (pn#076j) and pull back the Bolt Handle (pn#030j). The first time may/will do nothing so you may need to pull it back 2x, then just hit the Release before each time you pull back the Bolt and a shell will clear with EACH pull.

    3. If the shell is stuck in the tube (which happened to me because the dummy round was all beat up) then you have to push in the Shell Stop (pn#057j) manually with your finger to drop the bad one (or all). This part sux!

    Hi,

I used the Pelican APP-1720GUN-2PE Price $ 220.00 Then cut the foam myself.

I bought a similar Pelican (but smaller one) for my H&K USP. I really like the quality of these cases!

  12. Thanks!

Yes I bought the tray (the kind that sit inside ammo boxes) and cut the foam a tad smaller, then glued it to the bottom layer. I think the tray was like $3-4.00:)

I'm happy with the results and will be using a Pelican for my new HK USP as well.

  13. Hey,

Once I got over the rest of the picture...lol I noticed that side mounted flashlight on the M4. Anyone know what that is and how you get the side mounts like that?

    Thanks,

    MuNgEr

  14. For my M4 I used a Pelican Gun Case with closed cell Polyethylene Bottom & Convoluted foam padding.

You need to cut it yourself but the foam is awesome and wont absorb oils or moisture!
