  1. cmshoot, did the cryo treatment make your guns shoot better? Cleric, even non-treated semi-autos are just as expensive, the beretta xtrema 2 is the same price and they aren't crio treated, remington auto-loaders cost a pretty penny too. The price difference is the same with most shotguns, the pumps are $300-$500 and the automatics are $700-$1500. I think pricing has to do with the semi automatic action, not the cryo treadment.

  2. I use #2, 3 and 4, 3 1/2" winchester high velocity for everything from teal to geese. If I am mainly duck hunting I put 2 #4 shot 3" shells and a #3, 3 1/2". I get two passing shots and a flying away shot. Patterning is definately nessecary. I made the mistake of not patterning my new nova before I took it hunting, ended up with no ducks. I patterned it with different chokes, saw how it hit, now I am dropping plenty of ducks.

  3. Steve W, did you send a few boxes of 3 and a half inch magnums through the gun? They suggest doing that so is loosens up the gun spring. It might just be a stiff spring.

  4. I have always heard that this is bad for a gun yet my brother uses it on all three of his shotguns and all of them work great. Not one of them has rust or anything. My 20 gauge is identical to his, I use mine less, I have rust and his does not. Is WD-40 bad?

  5. I have been duck hunting for a while now and I have to say, the best rounds that I have ever used are Winchester Expert High Velocity in #2,3 and 4 shot. 3" shells cost me about $9 a box and 3 and 1/2" shells cost me about $12 a box. I even use the 3" high velocity as my pheasant shells, they always do the job. In my opinion Kent is not worth it.

  6. I agree, I almost bought a stoeger because it was $100 less, but then I knew there was a reason that it was less. What do you guys think of Franchi? Oh, got another question, anybody got a Beretta Extrema 2? Whats the quality between the Beretta Extrema 2 and the SBE 2?

  7. Whats the difference? Benelli and stoeger make almost the same pump gun, all three make almost the same semi auto and all of them use inertia driven semi autos. They all look like pretty good guns but Benelli and Franchi seem to be the better two. Also, it looks like the same person made all three websites.

  8. It only had a little bit and I was able to get it off. You think they would still clean it up or take it back even though I used it once? Where do you get the Breakfree CLP? I have never heard of it.

  9. Well, I got a camo nova but I am a little disapointed. It looks like the gun has a little rust or something. What should I do with it. It seems to be well lubed but it was the display gun. I'm going duck hunting here in a minute and when I get back I'll clean it and lube it up.

  10. The tactical barrel is stainless, the 26 inch nova barrel is not. I am not worried about the barrel, I just wanted the action stainless. I am buying it tomarrow so I might wind up with just a supernova. I like the stainless for so many reasons but I don't know if the price is worth it. With the spare barrel and the stainless gun it going to run about $700. The benelli supernova is camo and already has the barrel and only costs about $450 or so. You would be surprised about how wet it is here. I almost went hunting today and it was freezing cold and sleeting, so thats why I was looking into stainless. I know several people here that have novas that are plenty happy with them. I'll make up my mind tomarrow.

  11. Hey new here, I don't see anyone with a nova H20 tactical. I am about to buy one with an extra 26 inch nova barrel so I have a stainless duck gun and also a reliable home protection gun. Anyone else done the same or anything like that?
