The first year I had my SBEII, it stove piped on me with a 3 1/2" Federal shell and it was an overhead shot...I was told on other threads that this can happen when the gun is not seated properly on the shoulder. Now, this is the only instance i had with the gun and i've had it for 6 years now...You also stated that the problem is with Hevi Shot 3inch #3. Try Hevi Metal 3inch #3...This is all I shot and never had a problem.....Don't give up on the gun....

My M2000 shoots just fine....No problems............My SBEII shot high and to the left..Adjusted the shims and it's dead center.....I also took the back bead off and put on a high-viz sight...Big difference.........

I shot a goose the day after thanksgiving, 3" number #3's and brought him down with one shot at 30yards...and that was with Winchester Supremes......

I would not even buy any of his products.....I met him at the DU Outdoors Festival and he was an arrogant little man.....Knowing him, he will get a slap on the hand and don't do it again...............

I shot a box of heavy metal thru my stoeger M2000..........3inch #3's and used the factory modified choke....knocked em dead........don't waste your money,,,,

My SBEII was not meant to sit in the gun cabinet all summer long and then to be brought out during duck and goose season.....I take it to the trap range and fire away, no matter what round I put in it.....Cycles just fine....

I have a modified high flyer in my SBEII and the results with #3 steel are awesome.....I tried the full extended range and sent it back cause it was blowing out the pattern.....Might want to email Kicks about the Vinci...Very helpful service.....

The letters are BL, which according to tuckers note the gun is a 1998 model.......The seller is going to flip when I tell him that......

I notified the seller that I need the letters in the box underneath the trigger assembly...My SBEII has BZ which was a 2005 gun.......This should give us an answer......

I am awhere of the markings and I am a SBEII owner.......Possibly, he has athe year wrong, but claims it was a 2002 purchase.....I looked at the gun and it clearly states Super Black Eagle II One scratch on the barrel and on the stock finsh into the wood,...The Benelli logo is also missing on the bottom of the stock....I gave him a guess at what it was worth and I said about $650...........See what happens......

He claims it was purchased in 2002...Definitely a SBEII and 3 1/2 inch chamber,,,,,He is taking it to a gunshop to have it priced....Keep all in touch........

I talked to him and got to shake his hand at one of the Benelli Exhibitions at the DU Event in Oshkosh,WI a few years back..True Gentlemen.
