  1. Spamhaus?

Sounds like Bonanza and Monty Python in the same time slot :D

OK........I admit.........THAT's funny :D NOW this conversation is goin places!

Heres a visual..........Big Haus Cartwright spewing blood while being attacked by a killer bunny rabbit and little Joe throwing sacred granades

  2. I don't suppose you want me to comment on that part, do you?

    Got your swimmies on?

So to me that's saying that the post was about market research and brand/product recognition, and not so much about deer hunting as it was about sales.

Advertising leads to sales, you know?

    That be SPAM.

The fact that the product being promoted has some relevance to hunting doesn't really give it a free pass.

    got your swimmies in????????

An electronic message is "spam" IF:

the recipient has not verifiably granted deliberate, explicit, and still-revocable permission for it to be sent. quoted from spamhaus.org

I was wondering if you could show me where you have the right to give permission to anyone to post on this this sight.

  3. [All the pm's I have recieved have convinced me to stay the course. They just don't want to be harassed,so they watch from the sidelines.

    PROMOTE ON QUAKER DUDE

Tucker - thanks for the direct LINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Please define spam (I know what it is and just want know if you know the definition) The guy is obviuosly proud of what he sells and wants to know if anyone has tried it. This is a hunting forum thus the question about a hunting product (even if does sell it). If he didnt post it, I may not ever know about it and who knows maybe I will get one a bag the buck of a lifetime. Hmmmm, I think THAT would make me happy he asked about it.

I dont recall his statement asking anyone to buy one, I didnt see a link going directly to the product, his email or pricing. He isnt promoting anything - he asked a question.

Why shouldnt we be able to talk about products without caring WHO brings it up. Benelli has this forum to talk about THIER products, is there anything wrong with THAT? I dont know.............. maybe I have brain damage

  5. After doing a bunch of research and almost buying a rifeled barrel - I decided to test some slugs from the 26 " bird barrel today and I can say I am completely impressed. I called Benelli and they said to use the Cyl or Imp Cyl but I still wouldnt be accurate past 30 yards. BULLCRAP. At first I admit I wasnt happy - I used the Cyl choke. 25 yards it shoots high about 10" but side to side its perfect. Though it shot high I was grouping 3 inch groups. I took it to 50 yards and it all fell apart, I was barely on the the paper (way left). I tried Federal, Winchester and Brenneke...all the same.

SO, I tried Imp Cyl and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. It still shoots high but still grouping 3 inch at 25 yards. Now I took it to 50 yards and I shoot exactly where I shot at 25 yards. Now I am happy. I took it to 75yards and the group came down about 5 inches and now grouping within 5 inches. Really happy.

Next I am going to buy the TRUGLO shotgun sights that attach to the rib to really dial it in instaed of just using the bead sights. CAnt wait for that but using the stock bird barrel and stock sights, I definately wouldnt hesitate at shooting a deer.

I hope this helps anyone loooking to shoot slugs from thier bird barrel....it works with Imp Cyl and it's accurate. No need to buy a rifled barrel, it's just a great "do it all" gun if you ask me.

  6. Fianally shot it! I was pretty nervous before I shot it in regards if I made the right decision but ohhh man is that gun awesome. Started out with some 3.5 turkey loads. patterned awesome and hardly kicked if you asked me, very impressed. Shot about 30 of those and them went to 2 3/4 1300 fps trap loads about another 30. Honestly I could shoot those all day long and not feel it. The most impressive thing to me was how fast it cycled and how fast the barrel recovery is. I have read that this guns kicks alot but I dont see it. Especially with the 2 3/4, You can barely feel them. Did I say the recovery was incredible? :) I can see why Tom Knapp can shoot like he does! I was worried about cyling problems as I have read about but it it fired flawlessly and I couldnt be happier. My Remington die hard freind shot it alot with me and now he wants one. His words were "shoots like a dream". I HIGHLY recommend an SBEII if you are thinking about it.

Took it home for a cleaning and damn was that easy and fast. I am sooo glad I didnt go with the Beretta (my other choice). The ONLY thing I dont like too much is that it doesnt hold many shells but thats a duck gun for ya I guess.

I never had so much fun shooting a shotgun - I cant wait to get back out there!!

Next week I will be trying diff loads and chokes and patterning it in for turkeys.

    Thanks all for reading !!

  7. Yeh....I have read it about 5 times :)

thanks for the reply - I will be shootin this weekend and will report how it goes! I am pretty excited goin from a mossberg to this gun!
