  1. Well, it looks like that last one was my fifth. Here you are.

    Now I expect some answers.;)

its nice, but i'd still shoot the **** out of it.

  2. I already posted a pic in another thread, but seeing as your thread is devoid of pics (even though you asked politely) I though I would post another.

Same one as the other thread. The sight is an Eotech 552 with NV compatibility.

    i want your barrel:eek:

  3. Thanks for the information guys.

    Follow-up questions:

M1014, do you know how your buddy swapped the parts and if he ran into the same problem as fiavaim?

M1014 and fiavaim, how many stock positions does the Numrich part allow? How is the part quality compared to the stock piece?

    Thanks again.

mine only has 2 stock positions, and to be honest the quality of the new tube is pretty much the same as the stock.

  4. I had heard it is very difficult to unscrew the old recoil tube out because Benelli used a powered form of locktite that makes it extremely difficult to unscrew from the receiver. What is the procedure to get the old one out?

i used a heat gun, 3x crescent wrench; one that fits snug around the nut where the tube meets the reciever other to fit snug around the end of the tube and the last one doesn't matter.

first thing i did was i used the heat gun to break down the locktite.

then i had to unscrew the nut where the tube meets the reciever. i did that by finding a crescent, 1 1/16 if i remember correctly, that fit it. then i slide another wrench threw the reciever where the bolt goes then out the bottom. by having my dad hold that wrench in place it keep the reciever from moving, then i used some brute force to get that nut off... its hard as **** let me tell you.

pretty did the same thing taking off the tube as i did taking off the nut. both are hard as ****, but all that hard work was worth it to me.

  5. I was only playin...

I'd post a pic of mine, but I have a few more parts being shipped right now that I want to wait for before I take some glamor shots.

I've seen pics of other peoples setups lying around the site in various threads. Must just be too lazy to repost.

    bingo......

  6. Thanks for the linky - but that looks like a stock one that will not let the stock collapse? Does anyone know for sure if this one will let the stock collapse to two positions or three?

i bought it about a month ago, and it does let the skeletonized stock colapse.

i bought 2, one gutted and the other with the spring assembly in it. when i took off the stock recoil tube i replaced it with the assembled on i had. then i tried to swap the spring from the stock tube over to the gutted tube and i have a problem getting the little clip at the bottom (or the end that goes into the reciever) out.

  7. quick question, see if anyone can answer this for me... so is it illegal to have both a skeletonized stock that doesn't collapse and an extended mag tube on your benelli m4?

  8. The Scout light is an excellent piece of kit. The thing people forget about mounting a light on a shotgun is the forces that the light is subjected to by the weapon. SureFire makes a screw on lens assembly that can withstand the concussive shock of weapons like shotguns and large caliber weapons that fits on most of the handhelds.

The G2 is a great light but I cannot say how long it may survive on a shotgun before it has problems.

    couldn't agree more...

  9. I currently have a SureFire Scout Light on my M4...

I am using a B&T single picatinny rail.

I am looking to replace it with the following combination.

1.) G2 Tan (I have the desert camo, so I think it will look a bit better)

2.) Replace the incandescent with a Malkoff LED 235+ lumens

3.) Use a Tan CAA Mount in conjunction with the B&T

Do you think this setup can take the recoil, the heat and whatever else I am not thinking of??? I called SureFire and they said it's not recommended, but didn't say it wouldn't work either...

    What do you guys think?

should be fine, i think they just say its not recommended just they can try to change your mind about purchasing a more expensive light like this one http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/carfnbr/345/prrfnbr/24223/Scout-Light

  10. well theres a post somewhere in here about the cycling problem the surefire m80 was making. the solution was to add a strip or two of the 3M tape (that you can get from napa) inside the m80 where the pistons would sit in and it would fix the problem. so far so good for my M4, so i'd say it works.

  11. I removed the Pic rail and still no joy. I even removed the trigger group and stock to see if it helped and nothing. I have however managed to pry the foregrips off and with a little bit of sanding and Duracoat they should be fine. The barrel still does not want to come out of the receiver. It has come out about 1" but that is it. I have sprayed the inside of the receiver with lubrication and even applied a little bit of gentle hammer action to try and loosen things up.....still no luck. I am going to let it set over night and allow the lube to work on things. Hopefully tomorrow I will have better luck at removing the barrel. This is my first Benelli and so far I am not impressed. I hope it shoots better than it disassembles.

thats really wierd for htat to be happening to your M4, anfter you unscrew the tube cap the barrel should litterally fall outta the receiver if you'd point the gun down. sorry wish i could give give you more advise but thats just too odd can't think of anything.

  12. I have done all of those things minus the part where the barrel should slide out. No matter how hard I pull on the barrel, it doesn't come free from the receiver.

Let me also add that I purchased the gun already assembled from the store.

try taking the Picatinny Rail off the top of the receiver, it could be that they are tightend too tight and its puting pressure down onto the barrel.

  13. Yes, sort of.

H&K imported Benelli for many years.

Heckler and Koch lost the Benelli importation contract long before the M2 even existed. I think the last H&K Benellis were sold in 1999? Maybe 1998 or 2000.

I think the M2 came out in 2005.

I think your friend has an M1.

you think too much:eek: i keed i keed!

  14. nice m4, i got that m80 for mine... not liking it:(. i dont know if mine just sucks but it seems that the piston grooves inside the rubber parts of the forend are keeping one of the pistons from moving back and forth. so sometimes it wont cycle the rounds.

  15. ***** ***** *****, Thats all im hearing is a bunch of crying by little communist girls, that think that everyone should be entitled to everything.

WTF did you buy a damn M4 for if you are hurting in the $$ area? If people are paying the prices, obviously its worth it. Otherwise, guess what, wait for it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,THEY WOULDNT BUY IT!

Is a M4 the first gun over a grand that you own? If so, welcome to the world of expensive ****. If not, are you still this nieve? You people dont have a CLUE what expensive is for a gun if you think that $1k is high for a stock.

In the last 3 months, I have sold 2 of the skel stocks. One for $750 and some trade, and another, recently, on here for $500. Do I feel guilty? Both of the guys that I sold these stocks to were happier than a punk in jail to get them.

Should I lower my price to $150 just because you FEEL that is a fair price? You want more money? Get a job that pays more. You want a budget shotgun that has cheep stocks, get an 870.

Why not call Benelli and, oh, I dont know, BLAME THE

    SOURCE?!?

I hear free market all the time, but the first situation that comes up where some yo-yo cant afford something, he gets all butthurt and cries price gouging.

Man up, you have a few choices here.

1.Continue to be a little girl.Cry everytime something comes along that you cant afford

2.Be a man,Make more money, buy what you want.Or dont, take a stand and just say "this sport is just out of my means"

    3. Realize that a semi-expensive gun just isnt what you need. Perhaps the pawn shops, and a used Wingmaster are more your speed.

I still laugh everytime I see people on a Benelli forum crying about prices.

    Grow a pair you babies.

oh how i do love my new stock haha:D DSC_0889_edited-1.jpg

  16. It's a Benelli M4. It has the fixed pistol grip. The shop that has it for sale said a guy (who does this regularly for some reason) purchased it and changed his mine, trading it in on something else a few weeks later. Guy that bought it claims he never fired it. I looked at it today and it don't even have any wear on the extractor. I'm going to put it on layaway tommorrow. Price....... $999. It's advertised as NIB with box. Not a scratch on it. Should I get it? I'll have to put it on layaway as I dont' have the spare cash laying around. I'm selling a Winchester M94 to help fund the purchase as well.
