  1. An M1 do to be an outdated and older model, but certainly still more than functional, will be much harder to find than an M2. I have only seen them in person used at a pawn shop. The best bet would be to try gunbroker.com as they seem to have good availabilty on Benelli shotguns. Best of luck with your find.

  2. I installed a limb saver precision fit for a standard Benelli M1 on my M1014 standard stock,,the recoil pad is a slight high on the top,,other than that ,,its great,,no more hurt shoulder from 00

M1014 any chance you could post some pics of you recoil mod. Been thinking about that for my M4 as well.

  3. thanks for the inquiries. both m4s and accessories are sold. buyer very happy . as for mr 1014 please email so i can give you references for me so in the future you dont run off buyers who will obtain a great deal on benellis i have thanks

Glad to hear there sold. Hope my suggestions helped.

  4. Chris the standard ghost ring sights you have on the M4 are luminescent type sights similiar to glow in the dark stars you could put on your ceiling as a kid. They need light to charge.Tritium is self luminous, needs no light to charge and will always be bright when needed. I have tritium sights on my HK and love them. Plus at night they make it really easy to find your weapon in the dark. Now for my M4 I dont have them but have seriously tossed around the idea until I got a TLR-2 laser/light combo instead for my home defense work.

  5. 3 (three) C Products 6.5 Grendel magazines sold for $347.00 last night on Gunbroker http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=120976553 . That does not mean they are worth a penny over the $14.97 C products still sells them for. Ask what you want for it, get what people will pay, just remember that auction started at a penny with no reserve. Difference here is you're trying to lay down some sort of Voodoo history lesson compelling us to believe we're saving $500 if we liberate your orphan M1014. Try listing it for a penny and I bet you'll get close to what your asking. Put a Rolex price tag on it and it better come in a Rolex box.

    Very nicely put Cleefurd.

  6. Guys on any forum there will always be some flamers who feel empowered by a keyboard. Thats just the d**n internet. Personally, I really like the forum and have found most members to be extremely helpful in answering my Benelli related ?'s.

  8. All kidding aside I used Sellier & Bellot 3 1/4 dram 1 1/4 oz. game loads to break in my M4. Wallyworld Federal 100 rd packs are good also. Stay away from the cheap Winchester ammo with the cardboard /fiber wads. I have been a full time gunsmith for over 20 years. In that time I have seen countless barrels wrecked from those cardboard wads getting stuck sidways in the bore. Usually the next round fired will damage the barrel. At $700+ for a M4 barrel it isnt worth saving a few bucks when buying ammo.

Gundoc thanks for the heads up on the Winchester. I will keep to the Federal.

  9. 10-4, I use Pelican cases for optics (binoculars, range finder) a takedown over & under (SKB & Baikal), and my 700P's, (1 in 308, 1 in 223). You can drive over them and not hurt the contents. The only downside is the cost, but you do get the protection!!

Geneleo I agree price is not cheap. My only concern with the Pelican is that I have multiple stocks for my M4 so which one do I cut the pelican for? Anyone know if they make a 1720 with regular non cut type foam and if so where can I get one?
