  1. I have to admit that these are absolutley lethal. I shot a few rounds goofing off to see what it can do.

    1. It will very effective blow the hinges of a door (In my case 2 1/4 in oak) not sure about steel, but I would be suprised if it did not.

    2. I shot it though a 6x6 piece of pine at 20 yards (center mass) and it went right though with a nice little circle on the front and 3x the size on the back.

    3. Shot another 6x6 piece of pine at close range and again through and through.

It did take two shots on the dead bolt the first penetrated and made a general mess of the lock, but there were still remnants holding the door closed. (to note, the door was basically hanging off and could easily be kicked in on the first shot) But I am note sure if my shot placement was the problem. (I shot the wood in between the door striker plate and the knob)

Just FYI. I was suprised about the accuracy at 20 yards.

Interesting.......what was left of the round?

    Thanks! :)

  2. Nice. But do you find that the sling gets in the way more than it is useful? I only sling the gun if I'm taking a class. Otherwise as a HD weapon the sling just seems to get in my way.

Yep, I agree for HD........not needed!

  3. Hi, I am looking to buy a synthetic stock with pistol grip for my M4. Cannot buy from Able as they do not sell into Canada. Anyone have one in new condition for sale or know of anywhere else to get one. Must be OEM not aftermarket

    Thanks

I have a brand new one.......I replaced it with a new field stock.

  4. NTSOS,

    She's a beauty!

How's that extra 1.5 lbs. of battery affect the balance? :D

Hey man......thanks for the kind words!

Well, the balance is not really too much of a problem, especially since I added Cliff's titanium thingy and then I cleverly limit it to maybe 2 or 3 ammo shells in there.

PS......I really, really like your rotisserie chicken mount idea!

  5. I am very proud to introduce to you all my very latest tactical lighting solution for the M4.

The system intelligently uses off the shelf technology (to help keep costs down), and we are going to offer

this very cleverly designed and extremely strong/low weight mounting system for an introductory price of only $19.95.......if you PM me today

I will send an additional mounting system for free....you simply pay an additional $6.95 shipping and

    handling fee.

Due to the overwhelming response, the system is currently on back order, but unfortunately, your credit card will be charged immediately upon order

    submission.....so please be patient!

  6. I wonder what the ramifications (if any) of shortening the follower's piston skirt .125 - .250" would be on the follower's performance/loading ability..........and/or removing material from the spring retainer's skirt to increase installed travel?

  7. guess its been acouple of years,,I can remember when I had to choose between another Benelli or a safe,,got the safe and very happy with it,,the name brand is LIBERTY,,yes bolt it to the floor,

Yes, I can relate to that..........I ordered a 2009 Liberty Lincoln 25 about a week ago.

  8. I imagine you stick in the small end and pry it out.

For what it's worth, I have never owned/used a pair of snap ring pliers, and I've always just used my cold steel knife to pry it out and my fists of steel to squash it back into the tube.

I imagine similar results could be had using the bolt. I wouldn't really suggest it though ... because even though the bolt handle is very durable, it's generally a bad idea to use small gun parts as pry tools, as they can get damaged and do an inferior job compared to easier to use, more durable actual pry tools, like a screwdriver to knife.

    Hey Duggan,

I agree.....anyway, it seems to me that the stock spring seal/retainer is kind of an odd piece IMO..........I would prefer a real snap ring and groove or maybe incorporate the end cap as the retainer and eliminate one part.

    Thanks!

  9. I easily removed the magazine spring seal ring from my 11707 with a pair of needle nosed pliers.

OTOH, the M1014 manual shows the use of the bolt handle to remove the seal.........how does that work??

  10. you should post a picture of it once you get the field stock on. Never seen one with a field stock.

    Hi Nikolai,

It's not mine, but it will look about the same.

  11. Yes they are there, you just really have to look hard. So did you get your field stock on?

Not yet.......it hasn't arrived..........I also would like to get Cleefurd's stock as I would like to experience the performance differences for myself.

  12. Hi Jeremy,

So the screws *are* actually there.....ok!

Yes, I understood from your first post that I had to remove the trigger assembly.........I just wanted to understand what those particular parts did.

    Ok.....thank you again! :)

    John

  13. Your welcome, glad I could help.

    Hi Jeremy,

Refering to my previously posted figure 6 drawing, I just noticed that my M4 11707's recoil pad does not even have the self threaded screw as pictured in the drawing. I have the pistol grip stock assembly (160J) and my Benelli M4 Super 90 manual has only the instructions/photos for the telescoping stock assembly.

Anyway, I'm slightly confused as I was wondering if you knew what the pieces and parts in the whatever version M4 parts list that I have posted actually do and does my M4 have any of those parts?

    Thanks again! :)

    John

  14. NTSOS,

To remove the stock on the M4, you do not have remove any nuts or bolts. The only thing you have to remove is the trigger assembly, then the whole stock will screw off from the receiver. Hope this helps,

    Jeremy

    Hi Jeremy,

    Oh, ok..........thanks so much! :)
