  1. Can you take a few more photos or a video?  I am trying to see how the spring seats into the retainer on the tube.
Can you compress the spring with one hand and free the piston with another?  I assume that spring adds tension to the gen2 handguard?

Does the owner's manual say anything?

  2. Yeah it kinda sucks.  I had one M4 that ran ANYTHING.  Others seem to not like the really low fps buckshot and cheap birdshot.
I have found that the Estate buckshot is a great balance of tight pattern, good reliability and price.

  3. I like how we have been informed that he was a white supremacist incel hispanic even though he murdered mostly other hispanics.
Yet we don't have the Nashville transgender school shooter's manifesto yet.  Shocking.

1000000000% theyre doing it WRONG,  PERIOD.   the SAME Brits that use that laughable abortion BULLPUP!!!????

Anyone so brainless as to NOT SEE how INSANE it is to stick a HUGE eotech on any shotgun needs their head examined. 😅

Ive seen 2 benelli m4 have their RAILS SHEERED OFF DUE TO RECOIL STRESS OF HAVING AN ELEPHANT (EOTECH) on them.

im going to assume you didnt think before posting that absurd picture of a fool with an eotech on his benelli.

Dang, you must be quite the Billy Bad Ass to call a member of the SAS a fool.
    Now you've got me scared.

Where did you find this information? Everything I see says if I have both an adjustable stock and a full size barrel that I need to change 4 parts to US made parts. This whole thing is super confusing.

Here is the text of the law.

r)It shall be unlawful for any person to assemble from imported parts any semiautomatic rifle or any shotgun which is identical to any rifle or shotgun prohibited from importation under section 925(d)(3) of this chapter as not being particularly suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes except that this subsection shall not apply to—

    (1)
the assembly of any such rifle or shotgun for sale or distribution by a licensed manufacturer to the United States or any department or agency thereof or to any State or any department, agency, or political subdivision thereof; or
    (2)
the assembly of any such rifle or shotgun for the purposes of testing or experimentation authorized by the Attorney General.
  6. 922r relates to the ASSEMBLY of an imported, non-sporting firearm.

You didn't do the assembling (someone ahead of you in the supply chain did) therefore 922r doesn't apply to you.

Those looks pretty nice, might probably grab those instead of the essac cards

They are pretty high quality.  The only issue is that the slots are narrow-ish and some shells dont' fit/are too snug.
Mine are too narrow for federal le loads.  YMMV though.

  8. No updates.  I haven't fired it since I discovered the latest wear.  I would love to see other owners post photos of the their piston housings . . .

I have no idea how the barrel bulged.  It was on its second range trip and I was shooting pheasant loads and some fiocchi and federal low recoil slugs.

I am trying to get my hands on a Mossberg 940 Tactical for a comparo.

What product have you tried? Le133 or Le132 or both? If so, any difference between?

Both.  Both failed to clear the ejection port.  I am sure since both are 1145fps.  Mine seem to like 1250ish and up.
Patterns I don't recall a difference.  I used to have some photos but must have deleted them.  It was a long time ago.

  10. I have  M4s that don't like the low recoil le flite control.  But i generally have bad luck with firearms so who knows.

For cheap buckshot try estate, aguila, and lax ammo extreme.  For cheap slugs . . . well any of them.

    5 shots in one hole at 50 yards,,,don't change a thing..you got a winner.

Funny thing is, that particular M4 was one of the original imported H2O robar np3 models.  I bought it and literally shot 5 wolf slugs out of it and put it away.
I don't think I will be doing any more shooting with it.

I wonder some times if I am the only person that views THE ultimate validation of the M4 being King of battle type/tactical semi-auto shotguns..are the countless comparisons made by all the other shotgun manufacturers vs. the M4 out there??  Pointing out/comparing subjective items such as; weight, ergos, trigger, looks, perceived recoil, reliability, etc..against the M4..further defines the Legacy of the M4 and it’s modern history in military & civilian world wide, alongside a patent that expired which allowed other manufacturers to say…”hey look at our version”.  To be clear, I’m not a “Benelli Fan boy”..but damn the M4 gets close to perfect,

    Perhaps.

To be clear, I am not anti 1301.  I have one and while I am disappointed in it, I am keeping it.  It is easy to shoot slugs accurately (only gone to 25 yds; I have an M4 that put 5 slugs in one hole at 50yds seated so I am not declaring a winner there yet), it is light, manueverable, and the stock cylinder choke is pretty good.

What I am is anti 1301 vs. M4 comparisons that ignore all of the 1301's substantial deficiencies compared to the M4.  All the big name youtubers have done this.  They are both Italian, that is about it.

My posterity will be shooting my M4s long after I am gone.  I think  my 1301 will be done after another 300 rounds of buckshot.
