  1. I have a supernova and actually got fantastic results with a Foiles Strait Heat. It patterned beautifully out to 45 yds with 3 1/2 #6 1 3/4 oz. Hevi 13. Its a waterfowl choke but I was very surprised at how well it patterned.
  2. The Duck Commander "Duck Picker" is a good call. Its good for for close up work and an all around good call.
  3. Actually he was shooting steel, kent faststeel's as a matter of fact.
  4. Or you can just call the ducks in closer, my grandpa uses a wingmaster with 2 3/4 chamber and drops geese at 40 yds with #4's. 3 " is more than enough for any waterfowl situation.
  5. It has an interesting look to it, but the more I look at it, it grows on me. When my dad bought a SBE ll several years ago the trigger guard looked out of this world, my supernova that I purchased 3 years looked like anything but a pump gun compared to my ole wingmaster. Cant wait to look at one.
  6. Go with a supernova its a great gun, it comes at an affordable price if you dont feel like shelling out the money. Ive had mine for 3 years and its a workhorse. I wouldnt have gotten anything else. 28 " barrel with a kicks highflyer + 3" #3's = recipe for success.
  7. Mudhen great pictures looks like you had a great year. Congrats
  8. I've had my Supernova for the last 2 years. I have never had an issue with it. Its been in every condition imaginable and its gone boom every time Ive pulled the trigger. It could be that the firing assembly is slightly off on the forend rails.
  9. As my law professor says "ignorance of the law is no excuse".
