  1. Cannot buy a c-stock in california, as far as I know.
  2. It definitely is a tight fit, and there seems to be a gap between the trigger housing and the stock, is this normal? Now everything is tightly put back on and all the parts seem to be in working order, but there is just a small gap. I'll take a picture later
  3. figured out the answer to the first question by looking at all the parts given to me, but the second question still remains about the fit
  4. Yeah, I did a search first but I didn't find the answer to the question I was looking for. I was pretty sure that I remember reading someone having similar issues, but after 10 minutes of the search function I decided I'll just ask again. Firstly, when i removed the stock I needed to screw it off. However, when putting the urbino stock on it doesn't seem to thread in. Is this correct? Or am I making a mistake. Secondly, the trigger group does not seem to fit back into the urbino stock. I put the old stock back on to see if I was doing it correctly and had no issues. Does anyone have any advice for putting the trigger group back in while using the urbino stock?
  5. I'm not so much a believer in the intimidation factor. If i'm going to shoot someone it won't be a warning shot, if I'm going to aim at someone it's going to be right before i pull the trigger. If you up the ante you also need to be prepared for the other person to do the same. They won't always back down. However, if the laser increases your confidence and lessens your anxiety allowing a better shot then it's worth it. I think of it more as a plus for the person who isn't as well trained. Imagine, you might go to the range and be really good at target practice, but can't control your adrenaline (like most people who probably haven't been through real training or have combat experience). I wouldn't personally put a laser on a shotgun, more likely i would on a pistol though. But I don't believe it a complete waste if that is your desire to put it on.
  6. Is there no bundle available for the stock colors?

    ? on ammo

I just followed everyone's advice and ran my M4 really lubed up straight out of the box and i was able to break it in on the walmart stuff which is really cheap. Spending the money on 100-200 buckshot rounds is harsh... especially when you live somewhere like California where the ammo is pretty damn expensive... but maybe its expensive everywhere. The point being I live in california and it sucks, but what doesn't suck is keeping your M4 well lubricated
  8. If you don't mind me asking. How much weight does this add to the M4 total? Without shells in it.
  9. What about the use of a bow for hunting? what's peoples take on that? less noise and a reusable projectile right?
  10. Carriercomp is one of the nicest tubes you can get. The only con is he is very busy making awesome ****, so you might have to be patient. If you want your tube REALLY quick go FFT, if you want to wait a month for a quality tube that will make you wet yourself upon installation go carriercomp.
  11. Good discussion, thanks for the replies... reason being I've started getting some decent sized paychecks (as good as they'll get for a college student), and with each paycheck I'm debating making my M4 cooler, or continuing to build on my AR-15... of which is currently only a lower and nothing else.
  12. I just wanted to get other people's opinions about all this stuff. I won't lie, it does look cool... but I just want to know how many people think the added weight and bulk to your gun is worth the money and if it's useful for anything other than scaring liberals into trying even harder to make it so you can't have **** this cool. For example, a shell carrier... I do get the practicality of having extra shells, but wouldn't it be better to have the shells on your person rather than the added weight to your gun? Do you find optics necessary on a shotgun? and are flashlights really necessary? (yes i have heard stories of people accidentally shooting loved ones because it was dark, but that just seems very rare... and honestly i don't really plan on shooting people in the dark) I guess partially I'm jealous because I envy you all for having so much cool ****, but maybe I can soothe myself with some practical words from the wiser on why I should just leave my M4 as is. (kip's tube aside, since that's the only change I've made)
  13. Yeah unless you're shooting 3inch magnum, the recoil shouldn't be that bad. I'm not as well versed as some of the other shooters on these forums, but something that helped me was working on my stance. I noticed that with the pistol grip I had a tendency to want to not hold it as tightly against my shoulder, so when I first started shooting this gun I also felt that the recoil was more than expected. Now after firing 1000+ rounds through it, it feels a bit more natural and as if the recoil has reduced... which is probably not the case, rather I'm just more used to it.
  14. Or you could walk in the store and buy tampons and not think too much about it. and if anyone sees them and asks say, "they're for my shotgun."
  15. Do i get to be the first to say, it probably doesn't matter if you're not 922r compliant because its practically unenforced unless you do something to warrant the extra attention?

    Chokes....

Cylinder and IC are recommended for slugs, but I believe that as long as it's not a steel slug it won't hurt your mod choke. If I'm wrong someone will definitely correct me on this.
  17. for 405 a month, i'd live there in an instant... something like that in California is like 900$ a month if you're lucky, and probably in some neighborhood where you don't want to walk around and there is too much traffic... then you aren't allowed to have a pistol with higher then 10 round mag capacity... also you can't have many different types of cool knives... also nun-chucks are illegal

    X-Rail

haha this is the coolest impractical upgrade yet!
  19. In the case of a zombie invasion you can never have enough ammunition... right?
  20. This conclusion seems to be the best. But, i don't see any reason why one of Kips tubes would not fit. In fact I would bet money that if you bought one of Kips full length tubes or one from FFT it would fit with no problems.
  21. but, i was under the impression that the rail that comes on the M4 sucks and should be replaced anyway :X
  22. The secret is to not spend more money unnecessarily after spending 1400$ on a shotgun.
  23. The reason why people jump out at people who try to sell things at a higher price than normal is because they are trying to prevent other forum members who may not be educated on what the going price for an item is. They are merely expressing their opinions in the manner that they see fit. Their outrage may even be based on having made poor decisions and buying something at a high price. Don't get all bent out of shape if you're called out, good luck to your sales but expect that there will be people who disagree with you. Just as you are entitled to attempt to sell things at a high price, people are entitled to voice their opinions as consumers or potential consumers. The way you feel regarding someone's actions over the internet is entirely up to you. Everything from your emotions to your response is completely your own responsibility. This is an internet forums where people are going to express their opinions. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they're lonely or boring or have nothing else to do but monitor forums. Just as digging up dead threads for some type of support would also not be due to being lonely, boring, or spiteful. Right?
  24. what are the uses of that laser!?
