  1. that sounded like you tried to say it all in one breath really quick... ...my response is I like the 870, it feels very smooth.

    I Spy....

is that forend any good, looks like it'd be rough on the hands.
  3. I have so much envy over your gun collection
  4. Sorry i don't condone calling people F***ots and N***ers, spiting on politicians and saying they want to shoot people if the health care bill passes. I must be retarded. And no I'm not talking about the early years, I'm talking about current events. This and that are completely different. It's a shame they're even calling themselves "The Tea Party" (because from what I hear those in charge of it have good intentions, it just doesn't help to have a **** ton of crazed followers)
  5. i find any of the stuff you get at walmart in the value packs works just fine... the winchester or federal in fact in like 500+ rounds i think i've only had 2 occurances with it not cycling.
  6. Actually, after hearing about the crazy "tea party" people i think i might need a vest after all... Too many crazy people have guns...
  7. once you get it and install it, all those bad memories will go away. there will be only happiness as you look at your m4 with a nice new full length mag tube loaded up with 7+1 2 3/4 an inch shells.
  8. but still... what if they shoot you in the face?
  9. It is understandable that there are liabilities when buying any product whether corporate or made in a garage. I think what texas n them are saying is that they understand the liabilities when buying product from someone who spent alot of time trying to hand craft a part (much like the full length mag tube which is awesomely made). They'll take the risk onto themselves and if worse comes to worse they probably wouldn't sue knowing the risk they are taking. Also speaking of this gas piston it seems the danger to the user is relatively low, if he were to sell like special incendiary ammo made in his garage it'd be different. It's a small piece of metal that moves back and forth via gas. I think someone should do the research on what the worst case scenario really is if this piston fails. But i also agree with h.bowman because regardless of your personal values... the law exists... it's there whether we like it or not and so do liabilities. Even if Texas, you wouldn't sue pana for a defective product chances are there is someone on this forum who would. i think h.bowman was just letting pana know that there is a very real consequence when doing business if he should fail to make the product up to snuff. it's really up to the buyer and seller to make whatever contract and liabilities known. maybe pana can sell his product with a liability waiver to keep himself safe or something who knows. I don't think h.bowman was really trying to rain on everyone's parade he just does tend to think more about the legal aspect of things... though his attitude of I'm right, you're wrong does tend to rub people the wrong way. I'd suggest taking a less... abrasive approach.
  10. I remember seeing these in a thread before. http://www.ddupleks.lv/EN/ddupleks_products/show/Hexolit32 has anyone ever shot any who could vouch for em or are they worthless?
  11. needcash makes a good point for any situation you'd probably need to have multiple guns... but this thread seemed to be more of a fantastical thread where you would mix in being tacticool and having variety and you went and ruined it with good points and logic...
  12. I can't believe I've read this entire thread. From it I've come to realize (again) no one will change their political views ever, and no one will be able to convince someone else to change their political views. Screw you guys, I'm going home.
  13. This quote is... Fantastic... The visuals! They're hilarious.
  14. Waste money? what else are you gonna do... horde it? so when you die the gov't can take it? or give it to your kids... so they can waste it? live some man. you can take your defense gun out to the range, you can't drive a model car. gun is to home def gun as model car is to sports car, is incorrect... it'd be more like gun is to home def gun as economy car is to sports car... and trucks are meant for hauling or off roading. There main function isn't to go 55 MPH.
  15. It's just that it's more of a hobby than practicality. Most of the people here on these forums have probably never been and will never be a victim of a home invasion. It's just something to pass the time and spend your money on. If you like it, and it makes you happy then do it. If that requires buying a M4, putting optics on it, a different rail with a flashlight, and all other sorts of nonsense then so be it. It makes them happy so it's really not a waste in the end now is it Think of it like buying a sports care, you'll rarely get a chance to take it to full speed... but you have it!
  16. hahahahaha, I don't care one way or the other, but this just seems really... arbitrary. This is what people are worried about!? seriously??? I dunno i'd be more worried about bits of metal tearing through my flesh rather than if the optics on their rifle had bible vs. "hidden" on them.

    Slugs and M4

should say on the box "rifled slug"

    Slugs and M4

Fairly sure that the factory choke is mod, so it should shoot fine as long as its one of those rifled slugs and not a sabot. I think... if I'm wrong someone will correct me soon enough.
  19. Does Texas pay you for advertising for them? (i actually plan on moving from California once i finish my Master's... Texas, AZ, Colorado i here good things about those places)
  20. Being black makes them more dangerous, haven't you seen the news?
  21. A minor technicality about the mixing of nationalities and races. i suppose being lazy causes me to have to write out about 10x as much. Point is you know what I meant and it is weird to me still that you would assume anyone who'd throw up a flag of another nationality is here illegally (or rather start talking about them even though they're not part of the current subject matter). As i was unaware of those extra laws protecting the American flag i will concede on this argument and chalk it up as extra knowledge to be learned, I don't want to spend the energy arguing on forums. Enjoy
  22. Woah, who said anything about illegal alien. You do know that people can be Mexican, Asian, Black and still be considered an American. It's weird your mind automatically goes there. but yeah, as an American i would expect you to stand up for the rights of your fellow American's even if they have a different view than you. Right's are rights, am i right? or do we just pick and choose who should have rights and who shouldn't based on our personal feelings?
  23. Well while you guys digressed into a **** slinging contest... the main issue was lost. Really it doesn't matter what nation this is or what flag it is, because we have this thing called freedom of speech. what you should be arguing about is his protection about that freedom. not throwing a fit because what it is he's expressing happens to be the same belief as yours. I'd expect us to fight for everyone's right to express their values. How does it revolve around the flag being flown if they're allowed to fly flags from their porch, i was under the impression it's because he actually had a flagpole in his lawn that the HOA wasn't to keen on. I agree people shouldn't use their military record as a reason their argument is correct. So lets look at it this way. An elderly man raises a flag that breaks the HOA guidelines and they ask him to take it down. They tell him he can have a flag hung from his porch. He doesn't want to. who's in the right and who's in the wrong without bringing his heroic feats into account. Why should it be different for any other symbol that someone values?
