  1. Where's the elastic? How can they expand to hold 12ga shells??? YOUR CONCEPT OF FREE CRAFT BRACELETS CONFUSES AND ANGERS ME!
  2. psst!....somebody tell Skeeter to turn of his flashlight too! Better safe than sorry.

    M4 Upgrades

You could probably replace that gun with a piece of pipe. Just stick the shotgun shell in one end with a BB taped over the primer. Tie a rubber band around that end of the pipe with a big ball bearing with a hole drilled in it. To fire it you pull back on the ball bearing and let it go...it'll slam into the BB and fire the shotgun shell! Better use schedule 80 pipe just to be safe...and you may want to pick up some more Bud Light before test firing it. Best not to let judgement get in the way of a truly inspred minimalist assault shotgun setup.
  4. Isn't there a joke about hiring a guy to paint the porch, giving him a bucket of paint and a roller. He knocks on the door a little while later and says he's finished...and by the way its not a Porch...its a Ferrari!
  5. Kip had some picture posted on his website. I think there may be minor changes as there was some mention of an improved mounting system. The choke tube may be different as well but the overall appearance should be the same. http://photos.carriercomp.com/GalleryThumbnails.aspx?gallery=210213
  6. In which case a well placed .22cal would be sufficient!

    Big Hat - carriercomp

true dat!! Apparently the rails are available now... in limited quantities... of one... slightly irregular one. If BigHat does not want it maybe we should start a bidding war for it! If Kip engraves it "Limited Edition 1 of 1" Skeeter and M1014 will fight to the death over it!
  8. I was invited to a shoot sponsored by our HVAC vendor. It was their customer appreciation day. The invitation said to bring your shotgun and all I have is the M4! We had a fun day. Since our group reserved the entire facility for the day they allowed me to bend the rules (load one shell at a time....right...). I shot 25 clays at the trap range and hit 5 on the first round. It may not sound like much but I never attempted shooting trap before. They let me load 5 shells at once for each station. Since I was in the line with 4 other shooters I exercised restraint and only took one shot per clay. We moved on to the sporting clays. It was much faster and the little clays were difficult to see. Since there were fewer people and only one shooter at a time I was able to shoot "Assault Sporting Clays" and just loaded up the extended mag and blasted away until the clay hit the ground. That was really fun:D. I did the best at one station where the clays came right at us. I guess basic survival instincts kicked in or I just like Uncle Jimbo on South Park "It's coming right for us!" The best shot of the day was a double that came right at me. The first shot hit the clay but knocked a big chunk off it. I thought the chunk was the second clay and hit it squarely and blew it into dust. I lowered the gun thinking I was done when someone behind me said there was still one coming. I took a quick shot from the hip and hit it! Major cool points but I know...If there are no photos it never happened! Sorry guys.
  9. It's not Pink...it's Near Infrared!
  10. It reminds me of Uncle Jimbo on South Park always yelling "It's coming right for us!" before blasting away.
  11. The bullets go through the King stud and wound the Jack stud, then all you are left with are a bunch of cripples! (Carpentarily speaking of course)
  12. I think it may have to due with the temperature. I think there is a sweet spot where the adhesive fractures instead of liquefying.
  13. I want to know the results of the range test. Go ahead...put a bag over your head and take this abortion outside and fire a few rounds through it. I suspect the failure mode would be the the adhesive on the tape melting after the barrel heats up a bit.
  14. That's usually how I interpret it...especially when its written in all caps! Did I mention that I have the exact same LaRoo TeaOne combo thingy (even my serial numbers are the same as HK's) that I am on the verge of getting rid of too!
  15. When people are shooting at you, conventional wisdom dictates you stand near the door frame so the king studs and extra supports around the door frame provide additional protection. Evidently whoever was shooting at the door did not want to waste any ammo that was not sure to penetrate into the closet.
  16. Must have been the bad guy with an Uzi or something trying to kill Ashton in the closet. Those bad guy actors have excellent aim! I like the fact the bullets are evenly distributed all over the doors but the moldings around the door frame are untouched. Probably some sort of door leaf hating homicidal trim carpenter. Maybe they used a new type of short barreled, one handed, shotgun that shoots 50 slugs out of a rectangular door shaped choke?
  17. This reminds me of a knife juggler that used to claim he had the actual hatchet George Washington used to chop down the cherry tree...of course he had to replace the handle...and the head...but it occupies the same space. We already thought of this, discussed it, and someone actually did it and posted pictures. Let's see some pics!

    Infrared Light

I should probably re-think that trail of twenty dollar bills that leads into my bedroom window and ends just short of the pile of flaming carrots (alcohol burns with a near invisible blue flame...a perfect IR light source...and carrot flambé makes a great midnight snack!).

    Infrared Light

Soak them in Everclear overnight...viola! Flammable Carrots! Seriously, the NV setting on the Eotech just makes the reticule very dim so that it does not flare in your NV scope or goggles. NV equipment is not necessarily sensitive to IR illumination, older units just multiplied existing light, newer units will probably work OK. IR Illumination will give away your position if the bad guys are using IR sensitive NV equipment.

Carrots...that's what you need...eat lots of carrots...good for the eyes don't you know.
  21. It may be a problem with "new" M4s. I took mine to the range and ran about 50 rounds of low recoil buckshot through it while shooting from the hip with an intentionally "limp" hold and could not induce a FTF. Previously I had been shooting full power loads for quite some time. I suspect break-in plays a big part in reliability with low power rounds.

    hehehehe

WRONG! We will never own one with the exact same serial number as M1014. This is likely a limited edition 1 of 250 breaching gun set. That box is probably fine hardwood with the Benelli logo lovingly affixed with the finest French Papier-mâché! I'm sure when he flips it over you will see the fine engraving of dead terrorists resplendent on a field of more dead terrorists (and possibly a duck in flight...Predator Drone more likely). The steel for this gun was created from the first Benelli motorcycle which was removed from the Italian National Archives and melted down just for this limited edition. The gun itself was presented to M1014 by Tonino "the terrible" Benelli the famous motorcycle racer who was exhumed and cloned especially for the presentation ceremony. YOU MERE MORTALS WILL NEVER OWN A GUN LIKE THIS!!!!
