  1. The Legacy has 2 1/4" drop at the heel and the SS has 2". Minor but one could fit you better than the other. I have a SS and love it.
  2. Can anyone tell me if the only differences in these guns is appearance? If it is true I believe I would rather have the Cordoba as my next clays gun. The sun reflects too much off of the Super Sport. Thanks for the help.
  3. I love new guns. Did your wife buy the it followed me home routine? lol
  4. I imagine so. It's a viscous cycle. One right after another. Gonna cost me a divorce. .. lol
  5. Same rule that applies to steel applies to hevi shot. It does not compress either
  6. I will say I appreciate a company that listens to its customers. Many of us wanted a 3.5" Vinci and here it is. Concerns over the mashing of the middle finger caused them to redesign the trigger guard. Although, they did not move the safety to the back of the trigger(I don't think the design would allow it) they did make it larger for ease of use. Hats off to R&D. Now I just can't wait to get one.
  7. Gonna add one to the collection.
  8. Cool gotta have one of those for the collection. I am not completely sold on the modular design, but I like the fit and love the idea of not having a recoil spring in the stock.
  9. Could be true. I just noticed my local dealer has discounted all Vinci shotguns big time. May be trying to clear the shelves for "Super Vinci"
  10. Vinci 3.5 or 20ga? Perhaps a SBE3? I don't have a clue. Just wishing.
  11. Keep us informed on any new shotguns you see.
  12. Sounds like a tough job Stranger but I guess somebody has to do it. LOL
  13. trade it for the 28ga legacy. should be good to go
  14. It didnt do it last season, but the gun got wet this year during some sub freezing temps on a long trip and I had to leave it in the case on 4hr trip home. I really freaked out when I saw it, but a couple of hours in front of the fireplace and it was back to normal.
  15. Both of mine do it as well. It only happens in sub freezing temps. Moisture gets into the pad and the temp gets so cold it contracts the soft rubber. Really does look like a raisin. lol
  16. If mine gets wet and cold it shrivels and looks like a raisin. Thinking of replacing the pad with the american series pad.
  17. Mine patterned best with a Briley light modified X2 non ported choke. Placed 151 pellets evenly spaced at 40 yds. Better than factory chokes, and all BC chokes. I tried them all. Shot several boxes of shells before I came to this conclusion.
  18. I have a SBE II and was thinking about keeping some spare parts on hand in case I need them. Any idea what breaks most often. Tuck you got any thoughts on this. Thanks for the help guys.
  19. Thats a pretty good deal if its not too beat up. I would buy it, clean it real good, replace the recoil spring, and you should be ready to go. I would ask to shoot it before I bought it but though.
  20. My grandfather lost eye sight in his dominant eye(right) and was forced to learn to shoot left handed. It really took no time at all for him to get in the swing of things. I feel certain with practice you will do the same. Good luck.
  21. I just bought a M2. I registered the warranty online. Upon completion it thanked me for registering online for my one year warranty. It states in my manual and the web that it has a five year warranty. I just realize also that my SBE 2 also done the same thing(I have a printed copy). Anyone else have this problem or know whats up. Thanks
  22. I have found a deal on an m2 and was wondering if anyone uses one for clays or should I buy the Cordoba instead. I have SBE2 so this gun would be used for doves and clays only. Opinions?

    Vinci

If you get on the Benelli Italian site, the Rafiello(forgive the spelling) is a 28 gauge. I believe the U.S. gun will be similar to it just prettier.
  24. You must be careful. It does relieve recoil due to a drop in backpressure, however this is what makes the inertia system work. You may not be able to shoot the lighter loads very well. I would go with a trigger job myself and leave the barrel alone.
