  1. my LGS has 2 one is camo version (had that for a long time) and a black one. the black one is 1699.99

F gun broker and thoes rip off gougers. I am in Nor Cal if you want the info PM me or something. I wont post the name here as I might get yelled at for being a spammer or something. I also have no connection with gun shop and actually dont like them but they got them

  2. Glad all is well AC!!!... I've been meaning to try out the PDX....Looks like good stuff!

    Cya,

    Hookster :)

I just bought a few boxes of that stuff myself. I went to walmart to by cheep slugs for range and they were bone dry except for these so i bought some just cuz I had nothing else to buy,lol glad they work good I load them when in the safe for HD

  3. I'm glad I was able to get my Glock 19, 26 and Benelli M4 for under MSRP after the craziness began. If you go on gunbroker or any other online site, prices have skyrocketed as we all know...$900 for a gen 4 Glock 19 and $2500 for a M4 seem to be the norm these days. I did give in and buy a Glock 33 round magazine for $100 from a shipment that sold out within 10 minutes of it being posted - at least I got one. I just wish I picked up some more 5.56 and 9mm ammo back when things were somewhat normal.

Here's a good video about the ammo shortage:

GUn Broker is a joke. they over price everything and it still sales, lol. M4s can still be had a MSRP. there is a cammo one at my LGS right now been there for years actuall same one that was there when I bought mine.

  4. Well lets see it ... those print your own iron-ons don't last nearly as well as the commercial ones.

lol when I mentioned it here I got blasted as a spammer or something like that. I personaly would never do iron on but some are not that bad not like they used to be.

I use a print tec called discharge. the ink is water based and removes the shirt color (only works on dark shirts) and dyes it with the color chose. do this on a ringspun cotton shirt and what you get is a super soft tshirt where you do not feel the print.

I am not sure if you have seen thoes 90$ Tshirts called Affliction? same exact tecnique.

I make MMA shirts as a hobbie also

I am in the middle of printing some other gun shirts for a buddy but it has a AK 47 on it but the shirts is super funny I wish I could take credit for it but he told me what to do. this shirt he wanted low number so to keep cost down regular cotton shirt with reg plastisol print. Maybe I will post that one afterr its printed as it is not for sale by me so I cant get yelled at,lol

  5. wow 20 bucks for that? I made one 100% better and better quailty for 20$ about 6 moths ago. that shirt depending how many they made cost 3-4 bucks each. mine costed me around 11$

  6. Anyone have a EOTech sight installed on the factory M4 rail? I have one on order (back ordered) and I'd hate to wait months only to have it show up and not fit. Then wait another several weeks to order a replacement rail.

I have Eotech but not on stock rail I bought kips rail. to many horror stories about messed up outta spec rails for me to chance it.

  7. No Surefire rail, didn't want to take the stock forend off. The Briley unit goes in front of the forend, on the mag tube. I can't see holding the gun by the mag tube.

oh got ya! post up a picture what it looks like all mounted up.

  8. M4 do you have the sure fire rail? if so I just tucked the wire in the rail no need for anything.

also if you have surefire the light on the bottom will leave you with very lil room to hold on to gun.

  9. no worries how much was it if you dont mind?

the tape is perfect size. there is a button that turns on off and that takes about 1" then there is 2" or so of tape left for the pressure switch.

the cord I tucked in the the surefire rail and it worked great perfect size just couldnt get used to the light on there

light was on bottom and switch was on side.

  10. yup I have one it looks like 3" long (sorry no tape around) and yes it fit right over a rail!

    cord is double the lenth.

I have one I will sell ya if you wanna offer a fair price? almost new condition installed a few times but never used. couldnt get used to the light on the forend.

I also have the tail cap that the cord plugs into and connects to the Xseries

  11. I use the remington slugger 1oz slugs also But mine is M4. I use these for range/target shooting as my walmart has them at a fair price(sorta)

for HD I have 00buck and just bought something from winchester that has a slug and 3 or 4 pellets also. Looks cool but have not shot one yet.

  12. I buy in massive bulk to take advantage of savings. Right now, I load 9mm for $7.50 per 100. So extrapolated, that's only like 1250 for all of them. Considering the cheapest Walmart value pack stuff is about $25.00 per hundred, the savings is apparent. My 45acp loads for about $13.50 per 100. That's a lot better than $40.00!

Some of my loads cost more depending on what type of bullets I'm loading. Usually I load lead bullets from S&S Casting for plinking ammo. FMJ and JHP cost more, but they're easier and cleaner to load. I store the ammo loose in 30 and 50 caliber ammo cans. I fit about a 1000 9mm in a 30 caliber ammo can. A 1000 45acp fit in a 50 caliber can. The 45's are heavy, around 70 pounds a can with 230gn pills.

I order bullets and have them shipped with USPS flat rate boxes for like 14 bucks each. They stuff 70 pounds of bullets into each one. Typically 3000 9mm fit in each box and 2000 45acp. On my last purchase, they shipped a dozen of these flat rate boxes at the same time. The contractor mail man was crying. His SUV was all squated out from the ton of lead in the back!

Bottle neck cases like the 5.7 are more difficult to load. I haven't loaded any since I've heard it's a PITA. You have to trim bottle necked cases each time you shoot them. With .223, I have an electric trimmer, so I can trim them and resize them pretty quickly.

I really like the Dillon equipment for loading. I have a 650XL that is loaded out. I probably invested about 1600 in loading equipment when I started. That gave me the equipment to load three calibers. You need a decent amount of room to load on.

    High volume rounds are somewhat tedious. There is a lot of prep work to be done before you actually load the cases. Straight up loading, I can crank a 1000 rounds out in about an hour and a half to two hours. By then I'm usually bored. I have a basic outline of the tedious process below;

    1. Collect brass from the range.

    2. Sort brass into like calibers. Scrap damaged, split, pitted, missing primered casings.

    3. Tumble the like brass in the tumbler in walnut media.

    4. Sort the like casings again, separate into specific calibers.

    5. Wipe away dust on the cases and lubricate them for resizing.

    6. Cycle the cases through the Dillon to resize and deprime the cases.

    7. Return the resized cases to the tumbler with corncob media to remove the lubricant and to give a final polish.

    8. Return cases to the Dillon press in order to load them.

    9. Inspect each round by hand and insert it into a case gauge to determine uniformity. This final check is important since many cases tend to split during the loading process.

    10. Store rounds in ammo cans for later use.

    Repeat as necessary.

thats is great info thanks! seems a bit to much for me, I have 9week baby and 3 yr toddler even though I have no real job (retired) I dont think with my kids and BS jobs I would ever be able to do all that. LOL if I get 2 hours I come to the net to escape and see cool gun and other stuff i am into but again thanks for the info and taking the time responding to me

  13. I started reloading in 2008 just prior to to the last big scare. We hit up local areas where people shoot and pick up all the brass. All the calibers are cleaned up and sorted. I sell off the stuff I don't use and reload my calibers. I think I'm sitting on around 15,000 loaded 9mm at the moment. Probably 18,000 45acp. Needless to say, it has to be stored down stairs on the cement pad. I probably made a 1000 bucks off selling the assorted other brass on gunbroker.

I've amassed about 60K in 22lr. That crap is heavy!

    15000 9mm and 18000 .45cal

that my friend is way to funny I can only dream about some stores like that WOW.

I actually just thought about reloading cuz of the new 5.7 but I read alot of people scared to mess up the load and ruin there gun. not sure how tricky that is? you do any 5.7?

Is it really cheap to reload compared to just buy specially something like 9mm?

On miday I see they have automatic everything even powder measure thing. me being pretty slow thats the way I would go,lol

  14. well everything still at insane prices and every shop is out of any and everything including ammo.

no way they bann ammo why are people hording ammo right now? I had a hard time getting 9mm for my kids new gun she got for Xmas. there was a limit on only 50 rounds per person as supply was so low. lol 50 rounds I blast threw in 10 minutes.

good thing all employes are friends of mine i go in so much they sold me 250 so she was able to shoot free and i even got to use it a bit.

man I need to send hers to Glockworks also stock really sucks, lol

how you guys holding up on ammo? I am afraid to shoot to much now as I dont wanna get low

  15. This isn't a political comment I am about to make but a fact. They want to tax us and spend even more (look at the current deficit spending). Here is my opinion, I believe they will tax ammo and gun sales in create more bureaucracy in excess of the new taxes they will try to generate by strangling us.

I am sorry I agree what you said! I ment they dont wanna spend on commiting the mentally ill

  16. mine is not stamped and I got from the guy yuou are talking about! he is top notch feel free to buy (I paid more, lol )

I can not say on the end as mine is painted in camo but as lil memory i have I think it was all black. if not it sure didnt stand out or look funny. Sorry I couldnt help more but its been painted for a long time now and my memory sucks.
