  1. So you get a LEO or government friend to provide paperwork that falsifies the purpose of the telescopic stock? (I'm assuming they will need to state it's for official government/LEO business)
  2. As a member of this forum for the past two years, I have seen people offer to sell them for various amounts, never for 150. And no, I don't have friends in law enforcement, I went the military route.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I'm assuming this is still, technically, outside 922r, as you have to replace several other parts to fall within it's "legality"? Even if I had a fixed stock shotgun and replaced the mag tube with a U.S. made one, it's my understanding you still have to replace like three other parts? Not that I really give a rat's right hind leg, I'm simply curious.
  4. Does it look pretty good on yours, the color seems to be a bit off if the product on the top left is the one you're referring to? EDIT: Also, as new as I am to M4's, I noticed you actually have to heat the portion of the receiver where the mag tube fits in, correct? Is there a possibility of damaging the gun this way? I would give my left testicle before I scarred by Benelli. Why don't more people simply buy the factory Benelli extension that screws on the end of the existing one? 922r compliance?
  5. http://freedomfightertactical.com/products-page/magazine-tubes/the-freedom-fighter-tactical-922r-compliant-full-length-finished-titanium-magazine-tube-for-benelli-m4-shotgun/ THIS looks awesome... Anyone have one?
  6. I've searched these forums a bit, and after all the helpful input I received, I was wondering what the general consensus (if there was one) was on the best mag tube extension for my newly modified M4, and also what a good shell holder would be. I would prefer a holder that I don't have to drill or modifiy my M4 with, maybe even a cloth one that would stretch over my collapsible stock, if that's feasible. I'm not looking at getting a rail system on my M4, as those seem a bit ridiculous to me (just my humble opinion) so the shell holders I've seen that include those I'm not to fond of. EDIT: And while I'm not too worried about 922r compliance (must be one of the most inane laws I've ever heard of) I would like to eventually comply, so any advice with my on-the-way C-stock, and the mag extension I'm wanting to buy would be appreciated.
  7. Awesome, I sure hope I'm satisfied after paying such a high price for some telescoping plastic
  8. I purchased this stock direct from the company, Southwest Custom Firearms. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=225924186#PIC After purchasing it, I noticed there were no pics of the Benelli box, or even a picture of the "Benelli" on the bottom of the shoulder rest. Does this look legit to you all? Also, I purchased it on Friday, but they still haven't taken the auction down on the website, is that normal? I'm a little new to purchasing gun parts on the web, so I'm a little nervous. Thanks for your help!
  9. Bought it over the phone for 575... Wish I could have gotten a better price, but I guess it won't depreciate much!
  10. I'm looking for an original M4 Benelli telescoping stock, if anyone has one/knows where to find one, I'd be much obliged!
  11. 1811, you have a 11707 and you say it was a fairly simple process?
  12. I sent you a couple of PM's, but they don't show in my sent items. Let me know if you got them.
  13. First off, I apologize if this thread has been done to death I did a quick forum seach and wasn't able to find all the info I needed so I thought I'd just post a new topic. I'm looking to convert my 11707 from the fixed to a collapsible stock. First off, is this difficult? Once I actually purchase the stock, will I need a gunsmith or is it fairly easy for the 11707? Are there reputable retailers out there who sell it? I would prefer to purchase it from a retailer instead of an individual seller. Also, completely off topic, but my instruction manual says I have a "4+1" tube for my M4, but I was easily able to fit 5 shells in the tube, and think I could possibly fit 6. Is this normal? I'd like to get a mag tube extension soon, but would like the stock first.
  14. Are they easy to install? I'm thinking this will be my next purchase, and just want to make sure I don't make any expensive oversights.
  15. That sucks... I called out local sheriff and he basically said he had no clue if it was legal or not, but he "thought probably not" and I can't find anything online saying it ISN'T legal, but I would certainly like to know for sure before I start upgrading my gun. It's stupid that you can't find these things out with ease.
  16. I don't suppose you saw a listing for Missouri to see if it's legal, or know the website where you found it?
  17. Are you all sure the parkarized is the one that matches the rest of the gun? This link looks like it does not: http://shop.carriercomp.com/product.sc?productId=3&categoryId=4 However this one does, but it not the parkarized version: http://shop.carriercomp.com/product.sc?productId=5&categoryId=4
  18. Ah, I see, thank you Sukhoi. I'm assuming you simply insert the two prongs on the pliers, and pull them apart? This will not bend the metal? And thank you for the link to Kip's tubes. Nobody knows about how long the backorder is, though?
  19. So I'm looking forward to upgrading my spankin' new M4, and have heard from a couple places that Kip makes the best tubes... Is this the general consensus around here? Also, I've googled it, and cannot find his place of business... Apparently "Kip titanium tube" is not thorough enough. Does anyone have a link? Is there any chance of me actually GETTING one before new years? Also (to avoid a seperate posting) I asked about moving the sling mount on the barrel of my M4, and someone on these forums said you could simply do it with a pair of pliers. Obviously I am a little wary of wielding a pair of pliers around my new toy, I really just don't want to break what LOOKS to be a pretty easy-to-break piece of metal. Any advice?
  20. Nothing like coming to this forum to make my current setup look like garbage
  21. That looks like a good setup, but a little pricey for me now. I've searched flashlight threads on this forum quite a bit now, and am surprised at how difficult it is to get one for the M4. It seems that no company makes one specifically for the M4, which is shocking because it is issued to Marines. I would like to just put one to the right or left side of my weapon with minimal additions to the actual gun.
  22. Wow, that is one sexy set up. How did you get the picattany rails set up like that on your Benelli? That light looks perfect.
