  1. I'm not worried about 922r compliance, I'm worried about it being a gunfight-worthy stock.
  2. I'm a LEO and I can't even get one. They basically restrict it to LEAs.
  3. It's one of the optional sling attachments for the Urbino Stock, sold by Mesa Tactical. Some are for a sling loop, others for HK hooks, some ambi and some single-sided. I got the single-sided QD version. Slips right in that gap at the front of the stock.
  4. Looks like a Blue Force Gear Padded Two Point QD Sling.
  5. I like the stock charging handle. It's longer and doesn't get in the way of an oversized bolt release.
  6. Looks good. Looks like a heavy SOB though. Mine's heavy enough and I don't have all the metal Sidearmor stuff. In fact, I'm trying to find a way to cut some weight off mine.
  7. If I'd known the OEM grip overmold is only $18, I probably would have spent that just to avoid the hassle of taking it off the Benelli stock!
  8. I know this is an older thread but I didn't see the point in starting a new "Official M4 Photo Thread", so here goes... Benelli M4 Carriercomp Ti Mag Tube Carriercomp Replacement Top Rail Aimpoint Micro T-1 w/LaRue LT661 QD Mount GG&G Oversized Bolt Release Dave's Metal Works (DMW) Oversized Safety Mesa Tactical Urbino Stock w/Cheek Riser, Benelli OEM Pistol Grip Cover, Limbsaver Pad, & QD Sling Attachment Original SOE Bungee Sling Surefire M80 Railed Handguard w/LaRue Index Clips (UDE) 3GunGear Velcro Side Saddle White light and Sidearmor 2-Shell Carrier to follow...
  9. I finally broke down and bought an Urbino a few weeks ago. It makes a WORLD of difference. Should have gotten one sooner! Anyway, yes, the standard Urbino pistol grip is boxy and uncomfortable. It was easy enough (not super easy, but easy enough) to pry the rubbers off it and the OEM stock, and put the OEM grip onto the Urbino. Feels much better (see photo below).
  10. Has Cleefurd been around lately? At all?
  11. I like it! I wonder how closely this color of tan would match a set of LaRue Index Clips in FDE. I use the Surefire railed handguard, not the factory type ones.
  12. Interesting points and options. But I wouldn't have used such a high mount. I prefer to have the optic as low to the bore as possible. Pictured above is the highest Aimpoint Micro mount that LaRue makes. I like the shorter LT661.
  13. I respectfully disagree. I love mine. It's the one GG&G part that I think belongs on a Benelli shotgun. Works great on mine with the factory bolt handle. Wouldn't want a shortened one though.
  14. I already have, in a sense. Not gonna buy the muted one since I'm waiting on the black ones. Also, I'd like to see a longer one since I run the GG&G oversized bolt release button.
  15. Tagged. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.
  16. Last time I checked, Benelli required you to submit a memo on departmental letterhead stating that the stock would be used for duty use. Is this no longer the case? It would be nice if they would simply allow active (and perhaps also retired) LE to buy the stocks upon providing their credentials.
  17. This is all rather confusing. Especially for those of us who don't know the ins and outs of triggers and their various parts. All I know is that the factory Benelli "trigger" is very nice but Geissele "triggers" are supposedly the cat's ass. Marketing this project in an easy to understand way is going to be almost as important as producing a quality product. So far, the various iterations being proposed by Kip and Geissele have only muddied the waters. My humble suggestion would be to roll this thing out as a 100% replacement or not roll it out at all. Just my $0.02.
  18. I think we've beaten the spelling horse to death. Let's stay on the topic of short barrel shotguns from here on out.
  19. I'm glad somebody else noticed it too.
  20. This thread is weird. Sorry, had to say it.
