    Final form...

Very nice, you have excellent taste!
  2. The IWC mount does NOT contact the magazine tube.
  3. Two benefits to the C-Stock: 1. Looks sexy and is quintessential Benelli m4 2. Middle position length of pull and line of sight over bore is perfect for running an Aimpoint Micro or equivalent
  4. What is your budget for the gift? The cheapest non-shitty M4 accessory is the IWC light mount at roughly $65. The most commonly sought after accessory is the factory C-stock which is $300+ and troublesome to find A full length magazine tube is a must have upgrade and is around $200. Handguard stippling is a solid option. Do you have a pic of his M4 as it is currently configured so we know what the baseline is?
  5. THIS is the Holy Grail! Stippled OEM'ish handguards that tastefully host a ModButton Light or Hotbutton. I suppose a single MLOK slot in the perfect spot on each side of the handguard would work as well and be more futureproof.
  6. I've had both and prefer the 14". The sole con to the 14" is you have a seven shell capacity vs a nine shell one. Shown below alongside my other spaghetti guns.
  7. Yes correct, barrel assembly and needing a 5 shell magazine are the differences. I have a 14" and have considered buying an 18.5" barrel and full length mag tube to have the option of changing to a non-sbs setup.
  8. Looks pretty good! Great to see some addl MLOK rail options being made for the platform.
  9. I've owned both, the primary advantage of the SBS is the handling benefits of dropping 10oz and 4.5" off the nose. From behind the gun, shooting, I can't tell the difference...but presumably against a shot timer the 18.5" would have improved split times. I sold the 18.5" and have the SBS.
  10. Great build SD! Good to see the spacers available for folks who run the C-stock in its middle position. Are there similar spacers for Aimpoint Micros when using the SYNC02 and running a C-stock in the middle?
  11. Can you buy that new style C-Stock in the US or is it only available in Europe?
  12. Looks great, very thoughtfully done, and very classy setup!
  13. I started with an 18.5" in 2010....bought a 14" in 2012. Sold my 18.5" shortly after. Both are great, I prefer the 14". 14" is also much more WML friendly as you don't have the barrel shadowing issues you have on an 18.5". Lot of misinformation in this thread wrt the legal aspects of NFA ownership, which is unfortunate as it casts a discouraging shadow on getting into NFA items.
  14. I bought my first M4 from Botach and they have been a Benelli dealer for >10 years. I've ordered from them approximately 25 times over the last 11 years and always had a positive experience.
  15. Thanks! The sticker is just a UID Sticker. You can get them from Carolina Laserworks for $10. I have no relation with the company, just bought eight or so of their stickers over the years. It's primarily a "cloner" thing. https://carolinalaserworks.ecwid.com/
  16. Looks great and may pick one up. I've always just run the OEM bolt release and can certainly agree the factory one is a good bit too small.
  17. Second what SD recommended. A PLHv2 in 18650 body length fits awesome on your IWC mount with a 14" barrel. If you're running the factory handguards, the tailcap suggestion is best. If you're running a SF M80 or Agency handguard, then you have some remote switch options i.e. Hot Button, Modbutton Lite, ect. Here's mine with a SF Scout and Modbutton Lite on an M80 rail.
  18. C-stock (in middle position) does work well with a bit higher higher over bore. The LEAP mounts in 1.42" size should work prettt well, especially for RDS that don't have significant additional height in their chassis. i.e. Aimpoint Micro being an example of a "low" RDS. I used to run an Aimpoint micro in a LaRue QD low mount on the top rail and found it was a bit too low (height over bore) for the C-stock in the middle position. Now running a different RDS which has a few more millimeters of height (line of sight over bore) and it works great for me. All that said, the SYNC mount looks the cleanest and is ideal if you're running any of the OEM stock options in the fully extended position.
  19. Yes height over bore is the issue. What stock you run (i.e. c-stock in middle position, field stock/pg stock, or Mesa adjustable riser) makes all the difference. I personally run a c-stock in the middle position which dictates the need for a slightly higher over bore line of sight than the irons.
  20. There is one on eBay right now.
  21. Hi - that particular part number is tough to find at a reasonable price. I'd recommend a 11707 at around $1600-1700 and then purchase the seven shell tube from CarrierComp separately.
  22. Hello - I do not live in Pakistan but this dealer may be able to help you: Haider khan & Sons Arms dealer
  23. Hello - as you likely know the M80 rail has been out of production for several years. They do pop up every so often here. There is one on ebay now and are also often on GunBroker. I have one but am using it on my M4.
