what does everyone think about the new super vinci
-
i think i will contact benelli every year after waterfowl season and ask for them to fix it, i bought a gun that is suppose to be the best on the market for waterfowl hunting and it is a good gun othe thenthis problem. i think they could put a coating of something on it to stop this problem

Both of mine do it as well. It only happens in sub freezing temps. Moisture gets into the pad and the temp gets so cold it contracts the soft rubber. Really does look like a raisin. lol
yea i guess your rite about the sub freezing temps becuz i have nt notice any other time

Are you talking about the recoil pad or the comb?
Water has never affected my recoil pad, but the comb is another issue. Water or oil hit mine and deformed it a little (still don't exactly what caused it). Benelli sent me another one.
both are doig it , i plan on contacting benelli after duck season

not bad for the mountains of western NC

My Vinci has been in the rain and snow and I never seen that happen.
i hav a sbeII, ive talk to several people and it seems to be a rare thing

i would think benelli should cover it in the warrnty, i dont think that a waterfowl gun should be water sentive

haha!!! nice

Went out tonight and shot the R1 from the bench. Tried 180s,165,150s, and I can shoot better groups with my SBE II at 100yds with punkin ball slugs. Anyone have any ideas to make this thing shoot? It has a 3.5x10 leupold on it in weaver rings on the factory base. It looked like the cross hairs were always on the target in the right place.Or am I expecting too much? I think 4" at 100yds is alittle much for a $1200.00 rifle.
Thanks in advance

you may need to jb bore it to smooth the riflings

Umm ... Yeah. Brownells says that Design Concepts has discontinued production of the titanium charging handles for the M4. The only ones available now are the M1 charging handles. D'oh!
may be able to find one on gun broker

i like 26 barrel becuz its a little easier to move through limbs and other objects on the river bank

the nova is great but i would suggest the supernova to tame some of the recoil of those 3.5 shells

Green head gear makes some great mallard decoys for around $30
-
and if you are looking for a good call for cheap zink ph2 polycarb is a great call for around $35
-
the biggest thing i would recommened is to use good shells, there is nothing more dishearting then to have birds to work and then you blow feathers out but they still keep going
-
if price is not a factor get hevi shot, if it is use blackcloud
-
im pretty sure that they dont offer the vinci in a left handed model yet

Is it normal for the bolt to unlock and the slide to come back about half way if the gun is dry-fired when holding it at a near verticle position? I just got a supernova a few days ago and havn't seen this happen in my Moss. 500 or Rem. 870.
Thanks.
ive seen several of them do that they dont seem to have anything wrong with them
