Push forward with your left hand when firing. Let your left hand take the recoil, while relaxing your right. Steady pressure when firng. When I first bought my M4, I was pulling back with both hands when firing and it was like someone punching me hard in the shoulder. Since then I've even installed a Surefire forearm with a verticle grip, I use this grip to push forward and I actually lean forward as well. This technique has not only help with recoil but has alowd me to shoot faster ! TRY IT !

I bought mine a little over a year ago, paid $1650. At that time everyone here was stating that it could 've been had for around $1450. I was kind of bummin at the time, anyway, all is well and I love this thing. Badest shotgun on the planet!!

The Promag looks identical to the Benelli version except for the body of the stock.
What difference's do you see?? The finishes?? Weight?? Type of material?? What about the pistol grip??

You are way north, Zeke! I live in southern Luzerne County.
LOL....well at least I'm south of New York State !!

Thanks! Where abouts are ya from, if you don't mind me asking?
Northern Pa, Lawrenceville....it's right on the PA/NY border. Sure am glad I'm on the PA side right now and not the NY side, if you kmow what I mean. LOL
I go to Gander Mountain on occasion, I was there about 3 weeks ago and bought a 750 rds of 9mm. They are still expensive on some things. Anyways where do you live??

the cylindrical bar that goes across the width of the tube is definitely not a straight bar, it's more oval shaped towards one end. It doesn't move easily without pressing the button, but it does give a little bit. It also doesn't seem to move quite "right" to me.
I took mine apart as well and it is not a straight bar. It has a rounded bulged on the right hand side when button is not pressed. When the button is pushed the bulge moves to the right and a "U" shaped notch moves to the center. I did also notice that my button was sticking periodically and I made it work better by oiling the inside where the bar is, works great now. There is NO WAY mine will rotate 360 degree's, is there a chance that your button is sticking??

Zeke, here are your pictures. It's not too terrible, but honestly, i'd send it back if I weren't afraid it'd take 6 months to get it again.

Hmmm...It looks like small chipping. Mine isnt chipped at all, mine has a glossy finish, but it probably will chip over time.
BTW, I didnt even use my forearm. I have a Surefire.
As far as functionalbilty, it works fine. Must have got a bad bacth. BTW..how do you like the forearm? Does it fit good and are you going to use it?

Is this how it's supposed to be? I can unscrew the pistol grip to get a better picture, if need be. It's a pain in the ass though.

Its tough to see in this pic.

It's a done deal in NYS. Done! Does anyone know of any kind of petition by our representatives? I have heard nothing
of substance on this that could possible overturn that ridiculous bill just signed.

Benelli M4 Collapsible Stock $150 shipped NEW

Just pathetic.
WOW.....I have had 0 issues with mine. I have fired at least 1200 rds through it without a problem and I like shooting fast as well. I do have a vertical grip on my forend and let my left hand absorb most of the recoil (not the c-stock). All 3 notches seem to seat positively and when I shoot I have it fully opened.
I have heard where people are complaining about the finish chipping, but mine is not. Mine has absolutely 0 chips. IMO it looks awesome, it is a slightly different color than the M4. Pro Mag advertises a "Lifetime Warranty", my advise is send it back !!
