  1. Wow, that’s what this world needs, more people like you that would criticizes someone you don’t even know or their circumstance. It made perfect sense to me. You must have been one of those school bullies?
  2. New to Benelli with my first Benelli M2 Tactical. A new hat covering my balding head and my new M2 would look great at the range.
  3. I have the M2 Tactical with 400 rounds and zero malefactions, and most of those rounds were the Winchester Universal low brass bird shot loads I get at Wal-Mart in their 100 shell value pact. My M2 Tactical has a loading capacity of 5+1, the M4 is 5+1. My M2 Tactical has a barrel length of 18.5, the M4’s barrel is 18.5. My M2 came with Ghost ring sights same as the M4. My M2 came with three replaceable chokes same as the M4. Now if I want to use my M2 Tactical for hunting I would purchase a 26" field barrel, put in the round limiter (if your state restricts the number of shells) in the magazine tube and remove or not, the Ghost ring sight.
  4. Cleaning the weapon is half the fun. I guess that go’s back Marine Corps days. If your wondering what is up with replay #6 & #7 in your post they tell me it’s spam. Not sure how that happens but I’ve been seeing a lot of it lately.
  5. Welcome to the forum and welcome to NEPA, I live in NWPA. Love the way you have your M4 set up. I have the M2 Tactical also my first Benelli, it has been a great shooting gun handing everything I’ve put through it.
  6. Another satisfied M2 Tactical owner.

    m4 or m2

I guess you’ll have to decide for yourself but let me tell you about my M2 Tactical. I’ve had it for about a month and have 350 rounds through my gun. It has been 100% reliable even with the 300 low brass Winchester Universal loads I’ve shot through it, they are my fun shooting load that I buy at Wal-Mart. They sell them in their 100 shell value park for around $26.00 I‘ve had not one FTF or FTE with this low brass load. My M2 has an 18.5 barrel the M4 18.5. My M2 holds 5+1 the M4 5+1. My M2 has ghoast ring sights the M4 has ghoast ring sights. My M2 is drilled and tapped for a picatinny rail, the M4 comes with a rail. The M2 is inertia operated, the M4 is inertia gas assest operated. My M2 is my home defense weapon so my M2 gives me all the capabilities I need. You can not go wrong with either one. Good Luck.
  8. Sorry, had a bad day I guess I’m getting to be a grumpy old salt.
  9. I'm getting off this forum because of all the crap I keep getting. http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php/31302-Another-Range-Report-Boring http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php/29911-M2-Tactical-Charging-Handle
  10. Just kidding, love shooting my Benelli M2 Tactical. Went to the range with another 100 rounds of Winchester Universal low brass shells I picked up at Wal-Mart. Plus 15 Remington 1oz slugs and 15 Remington 00 buck. I now have a total of 350 rounds through my M2 and it has yet to have any type of malfunction. I even tried to get it to FTF or FTE by shooting 30 low brass loads from the hip, loose grip from the hip even a few from the hip holding the pistol grip one handed, what ever I could like of to trip up the inertia system, they all cycled perfectly. This gun is now my go to home defense weapon, loaded with 2 ¾ Remington 00 buck. And my new Nordic BFB operating handle I added worked great. Sorry for another boring range report.:)
  11. Thank you for the information because the next addition to my shotgun will most likely be the Daves Metal Works magazine extension. Their 7+1 extension can be used with the factory magazine nut and integrated sling attachment.
  12. Just got back from the range after replacing the factory bolt handle with the Nordic BFB bolt handle on my M2 Tactical. I was a little concerned that I might start having issues with low brass loads because of the larger bolt handle. I shot 75 rounds (3 boxes) of Winchester Universal low brass 7 ½ shot. I had zero FTE or for that matter failure anything, I even shot 15 or 20 times from my hip. My M2 continues to be malfunction free especially with the Winchester Universal 100 shell value pack I purchase at Wal-Mart for $26.00. Great value when you just want to do some fun shooting. Love my Benelli M2 Tactical http://shop.nordiccomp.com/NC-BFB-Big-Fat-Benelli-M1-M2-Bolt-Operating-Handle-BOH-BFB-12-00.htm
  13. Nordic was out of stock on their operating handle for my Benelli M2 Tactical so I went with their BFB operating handle. I like that it fits into the little slot in the bolt just like the factory handle. http://shop.nordiccomp.com/NC-BFB-Big-Fat-Benelli-M1-M2-Bolt-Operating-Handle-BOH-BFB-12-00.htm
  14. I’m thinking of putting the Nordic +3 magazine extension on my M2 making it into 7+1. Will adding the extra weight to the barrel do anything to the shotguns cycling reliability? My M2 has been 100% reliable with low brass loads so I would not want to do anything to jeopardize that reliability.
  15. I have a new Benelli M2 Tactical and would like to go to a larger charging bolt handle. I don’t believe the M4 handle is compatible with my M2, or is it? Can anyone recommend a larger handle and the web site I might find it. This is my first Benelli and my M2 Tactical has been 100% reliable right out of the box. To date I’ve put 150 Federal low brass loads from Wal-Mart, 50 Remington 00 buck and 25 Remington 1oz slugs. All functioned 100% and recoil is very manageable. The only change I would like to make is the bolt handle. Thank you and any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving and STAY SAFE . Frank (Old Salt)
  16. Thank you, I think I'll save my money for shells and have lot's of fun. Went to the range today and shot 50 low brass Federal loads, 20 Remington 00 buck and 20 Remington 1 oz slugs. Zero malfunctions, what a sweet shooter. The 1 oz slug group I shot at 25 yards you could cover with a baseball.
  17. Sorry Creeper, I have the tactical model with the pistol grip stock and 2 shell magazine extension making it a 5+1.
  18. Hi, I’m new to the forum and I just bought a new M2 Tactical. I brought it home and gave it a good cleaning. Can’t wait to take it to the range. Any helpful hits on the type of ammo or anything pertaining to the M2 would greatly be appreciated. Thank you
