Because none of the aftermarket come close ....
-
I did it as mine is for home defense so if I ever have to use it for that, no doubt its legality will be scrutenized.

^ What he said!

Hello benelliwerkes. Would you mind if I reposted this picture on facebook? Sure is funny!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone will probably report it as offensive and liberal FB will make you take it down.
-
Personally, I chose to change the internals. Installing the Geissele hammer and FFT trigger was a wonderful addition!
Same here .... went with FFT hammer and trigger, Geissele wasn't available at the time (I now have one waiting in the wings).

Disappointment with your kit in the midst of a storm is an extremely unpleasant experience. Which is why I have no issues with spending the money on a T-1.
Same here with my EOTech!

What size slip-on Limbsaver fits the C-stock?
I'll have to check, I've had it for over 2 years now so I don't remember off hand.
-
I just use the slip-on Limbsaver .... fits good and makes a big difference.
-
EOTech on mine.

Everyone trashes the Surefire fore end but I have one and have no issues with it, feels fine to me. I have the Surefire rubber covers over the parts of the rail not in use.
-
and it didn't sell ......

FYI ... the Pelican is big and heavy. Took it to the range once and that was it, bought the 42" 5.11 after that experience.
-
Pelican or the 42" 5.11 ... I have both. Travel = Pelican, daily/range = 5.11

Mine works fine.

Why not go with the Tru-lock one?
-
I'll have to try and dig through my emails to find which one I ordered but it fits the CS fine.
-
I use the limbsaver slip on for my CS M4.
-
Trulock makes one too ...

You can also buy strips of the same material they use for car "clear bra's" .. along the lines of helicopter tape. Go to Best Buy, buy a Invisible Shield (aka Zagg) cell phone screen protecter and cut it in strips, they use same material as helicopter tape.
