What slugs for deer hunting for my first gun Montefeltro 12 ga smooth bore? Somebody who has 2 weeks more then me experience in hunting suggested me Rifled choke with sabot slugs.

Has anyone tried Sabot Slugs in rifled barrel? I read somewhere in forums that you can use Rifled choke in smooth barrel with sabot slugs. I do not want to damage my brand new Montefeltro before I confirm that is okay to shoot Sabots in smooth bore.
