Gorgeous.
Tell me about that rifle stand/tripod though!

The stock isn’t pinned, Benelli uses a neutered receiver extension that won’t allow the stock to collapse. It only has the install notch and the fully extended position.

I ordered a custom padded one, zero regrets
Edit: Functions and looks great, I can’t think of any cons to offer.

I believe the Midwest ones are stripped. No plunger, spring, snap ring, stock screw plug or the flexible ring. All can be transferred from your existing extension to the new one. The flexible ring is the only difficult one.
Good copy, thx SD.

These were stripped ones. Which taking most of the internals out is simple enough. However, the flexible ring is kind of annoying to remove. You have to notch the existing tube so that you can get a punch under one leg of the ring and drive it out of the race.
Or buy another 5 dollar ring when in stock somewhere.
Interesting.
The Midwest ones aren’t just drop in?
Assuming not, is the one from BenelliParts.net drop in?

I was looking at my phone when the below email came through. I immediately clicked the link and it still showed Sold Out.
What a tease.
When I get one, my stuff is going straight to @StrangerDanger for retrofit...

Used this write-up to swap out my shell lifter for one from TTI, incredibly helpful.
Thanks, SD.

I am positive you mean well, but you may want to change or obscure a portion of the email address. Once the spam bots find it, he'll be flooded from here on. I'd do kip(at)carriercomp.com or something similar.
Good looking out, my intent was pure.
If you know how to edit after the fact, please share.

It's pretty easy. Look thru this tutorial.
You’re the man.

I’ll be installing a TTI shell carrier shortly.
Is this as easy a job as it looks, or are there any tutorials I should review in advance?

Thanks man! Got her out to the pond today and we all shot a goose so it feels better now! ?
Shoot, maybe that scratch was your lucky charm.
Best not fix it just in case.

I feel your pain.
Bought an M4 May of last year and, literally day one having it home, I was beginning my first ever dissemble to clean and relube and the damn cocking lever loses purchase and skips off of the trigger guard pin, scratches the receiver housing and I died a little inside.
Upside is I haven’t really worried about babying it since... -

Couldn’t be happier with this one.

I haven’t, but am personally interested in testing this ammo. I’ll look for it locally and order if necessary.
Disappointing that the article nor the display carton mention use of Federal’s Flitecontrol wad. That makes such a significant difference in pattern and shot consistency in my own testing. Thanks for the lead, CCB.

So glad I found this thread. Just got my M4 11707, and ran into the 4 shell load issue. Short of pulling the spring, couldn’t figure it out. Needless to say for the price of the gun, and having this issue when advertising 5+1 is slightly frustrating. The potential 7 spring isn’t bad if going to the full tube, but wasn’t something I planned on immediately, especially with 922 compliance (overall cost) from the initial cost of the gun.
Funny thing is the freedom fighter tactical video that covers the full Tube and 922r - dude says that people have run the 5 inch spring without issue. That was a flag to me, just on math and spring pressure. Now it makes sense if there is a 7 inch spring.
looking forward to being a part of the forum.
Welcome!
This forum was invaluable to me as a first time M4 owner and tinkerer-at-heart, I trust you’ll find it the same.
If you have a question and don’t see a thread about it, just ask. Decades of experience here (not me, the other guys/gals...)!
