Has anyone tried the shooting sight hammer?  Claims to be S7 tool steel . . .

There hasn't been a lot of feedback on it.  I think I remember somebody on the forum having a fitment issue but I can neither confirm or deny.

@Milspechow do you like the sync + T-2 combo. Do you use the stock in the middle position or fully extended?

I haven't installed it yet.  I'm slacking.  I only have the field stock.

It's on the list..  I'm still waiting for a few other things.  CC mag tube, J-Kenny 2 piece shell latch etc.

Can't decide if I'm going to use my Scout M600 with the backbone light body or go with the Cloud Rein.

Been straightening out an AR this week.

I'm surprised Nordic Components hasn't entered the market since they are basically tooled up for long tubular parts.

FFT would be last on my list since their 230$ steel tube is the same price as Carrier Comp's 230$ titanium tube. Even Dave Metal works steel tube is pretty decent at 115$.

Yeah good point.  Nordic sure likes making those extensions.

FFT tubes are spendy but then again he out sources everything so that adds to the cost.  Where CC machines, coats, makes his own as far as I know.

  5. Hmm ok,  that's going back a ways.  I was trying to identify if mine fell within the same lot.

Definitely seems like something is not correct with the hardness.

  6. I’m concerned about the extra weight  this light has.  The M4 is front heavy already.  I know we’re only talking and extra 2-3 oz over a SF M600 but the M4 is hefty.  I know the tool steel bezel adds some justifiable oz to it.  As the competitors use aluminum.

Has anyone noticed the extra weight up front?  I also notice the clicky buttons sits back roughly 1/2” or so farther.  Any issues with comfort or thumb jam?

My order took 18 days back in Sept 2019.

Let me know your order number and I will reach out to them on Fakebook.

That's very kind of you sir.  I'll PM/DM you or whatever they call it these days.  I don't mind waiting I just want to know that I'll get it.

The last email I received states my order has finished processing.  However, when I check my account/order on the J-Kenny site it still says processing and the item is not on back order.  I ordered Sept 13'th I believe.

  8. Luckily I snagged one.  One benefit for me is that I'm not too far from Scalarworks.  So, if my order is placed early enough it's pretty much next day delivery.  I should have my bundle today!

Not sure why we didn't get notified.  I signed up again about a week ago just to make sure.

    Kahamu - saved my bacon.

  9. That is total crud.  I bet you would have received better service from Kel-Tec or Taurus.

My new M4's top rail screws came buggered up from the factory.  It looks like a 9 year old installed them and the screwdriver slipped on every screw head.

The only reason I didn't make an issue out of it is because I'm pulling it off for a Scalarworks mount.  I'll have to post some pics one of these days.  Their QC and workmanship is going the way of the Do Do Bird!
