  1. @nimslow If I was you, I would reach out to FFT and see about getting a replacement.  There is an apparent lifetime warranty. At least get a new trigger from them, and they you could sell it to someone who might need it. Out of curiosity, how many rounds do you figure the you have shot with the FFT parts?

Was this from the latest FFT batch?  What trigger housing do you have?  Plastic or the older aluminum?

    He really said, "oh well"?

Let's hope that wasn't his attitude towards his products...

I'd rather not get the A&S if I don't have to. And I'm all set on 922(r).
There has to be a way to make this fit the OEM housing.

Fair enough, these platforms are a money pit!

That's kinda where I'm at now. I figure $45 isn't a lot compared to how much I've already spent on this gun haha

Those slings are only $45? I thought they were more expensive than that. I have to check those out.

Yup, tried that but I'm still having a problem. Think I might have more luck with the FFT grip?

@ClackClackBAM So I just recently bought the FFT fore grip myself. My set, which was black, has an okay fit and finish. I think I will be cutting some of the material at a later point to make it fit better. Since there aren't many options for 922(r) compliance, I can't complain too much.  I do think that the OEM is a better fit/finish than FFT.  The OEM has a more solid and textured feeling.

Just get an A&S housing and be done with it. That’s what I had to do with mine as the polymer factory one was just too tight.

When I did my 922(r) assembly, I chose the A&S route too.  Kinda stinks that he might be pushed into that direction...especially since it's another $220.  On the bright side, he does get another +1 in 922(r) compliance with the A&S!

Sent a video to Todd and he is pretty certain the issue is isolated to the hammer. I need to measure it against the stock hammer to see if it's too thick. If it is, shaving it down a little bit should solve the problem.

Here are some pictures so that you can see what it's doing:

    Where it SHOULD be

    Where it's ending up:

@ClackClackBAM I would also recommend looking at Stranger Danger's assembly/disassembly instructions and navigate to the conclusion section.  Once there, you should be able to find an operational check sequence of steps. These steps allow you to test all the correct functions of the trigger assembly.  I would be curious to know if, once you check these, if your trigger assembly fails any of them. Let us know once you know! Good luck man.

Hey all,  just got back from the range and am having a serious problem with the M4.

Last Saturday I had a gunsmith put in my FFT trigger pack. I went to test the trigger when I got it back and found that unless I sent the bolt home from all the way back on the receiver, the trigger wouldn't do anything. The gunsmith assured me that this was normal for an M4 and that you can't half-close the bolt then expect it to fire. I had a feeling he was wrong but I decide to trust him. He also said that he had to shave something (can't remember what) to make it all fit in there. Never bothered to call me to ask permission, which irritated me.

Today when I went to the range I had a bigger problem. While the gun cycles just fine, it will NOT fire the second round. First round goes bang, ejects, then the second round is loaded. Even though the bolt went all the way back then forward, pulling the trigger gets me a click and I THINK the hammer drops, but there are NO marks on the primer of the shell.

I called Todd at FFT and he said he's never heard of this happening before. Suggested that maybe the guy either removed too much material from whatever he had to shave down, or that maybe the springs were mixed up and put into the wrong spot.

Has this happened to anyone else?

@ClackClackBAM  If I was you, I would give the gunsmith the chance to make things right on his end before your start doing any tinkering on your end.  This way all the problems can be associated with the original work done by the gunsmith. People make mistakes...so let this person make good on his end. Now if he ends up leaving you high and dry, give the company some yelp reviews or something of that nature. Based on what you said, that a second round can't be fired, that is 100% not normal. What ammo were you using at the range?

I experienced the same issue.  When I spoke with Earl at IWC, he had mentioned that Benelli had two different tactical stocks with one being narrow and the other wider.

What I did was determine where I wanted the QD mount position, use the longer screws with the wide based-plate and gently turned the screw through the slot.  As you tighten, you will feel the beveled portion of the QD mount seat into the slot.

I'm sure if I remove the mount, that section of my stock would be marred.

Hmmm...that's interesting.  That's the first time I have heard of that. Can anyone confirm this?

It's been about a month now. I spoke with Marcy a few weeks ago and she said that they were almost done with the bach before mine, so within three weeks I should see it. That would put me near the second week of June, so hopefully that is still the case.

Well, I ordered my on 15May20, so I'm sure I would have at least a month beyond your order. Oh well!!! I'm much farther along in my build than I figured I would be, thanks to Stranger Danger letting me grab some parts from him. I bought a Scalarworks Sync mount and back-ordered a 1MOA RMR. I can't wait to finish up this beast!

You have quite a search ahead of you. I managed to find one through a private seller on CalGuns, so I'd suggest starting there.

After the stock I'm sure you'll be looking for the 7 round tube next. Once I get my Carrier Comp titanium tube in the next two weeks I'd be willing to give you my OEM 7 round tube for a good price, if you want to go that way. NBD if not, I don't mind hanging onto it.

When did you put your order in at CC? LOL I'm invoice # 0000008775. Would you do me a favor an give me a heads up as soon as you get a call for payment, so I can ballpark my order ?

  12. I have bought parts of people on this forum, but I don't think there is anything officially setup for that purpose. As far as the price point is concerned, I think you're going to have to buckle-down and wait out the pandemic purchasing wave. After that's over I would imagine stores will be back in stock.

The M1014 has always been amazing to me and afger many years drooling over it I finally picked up an M4 to turn into one. The only missing part left for me to complete it how I want is the collapsible stock set and I can't for the life of me find any in stock for reasonable prices. Is there a place i could special order one perhaps?

This is a dream gun of mine and I'm really hoping you can help.

    Thank you so much!

Well I just noticed that benelliparts.net is accepting pre-orders on c-stocks. You might reach out to them and ask for a timeframe on the pre-order.  Honestly, every supply chain for Benelli parts has pretty much dried up right now due to panic buying.  The only way you'll find parts right now is probably on Gunbroker or Ebay, of which you will be price gouged to all heck...ask me how I know! ?

Let the forum board know if you get any leads or traction. Good luck!

ShootingSight makes a hammer to get you one 922R compliant part.  www.shootingsight.com

S7 rolled plate tool steel that is wire EDM cut, then NiB coated for smoothness and wear resistance.

I bought a ShootingSight hammer to compliment the other 922(r) parts that I had ready for a trigger assembly build.  ShooterSight's hammer is high quality and I would recommend it, especially since it's available! I personally liked the laser etched raising of the flag at Iwo Jima logo.

  15. Here's what I'm working with.  My main concern was doing excessive damage to the C-stock's finish to make this work. It also appears that the fastening screws have a diameter that is slightly too large to fit through the c-stock's factory sling slot as well.

  16. Can someone give me some advice as to how they installed their IWC QD sling mount into their C-stock?  For me, it doesn't appear that the actual QD piece fits into the c-stock sling gap and it should seem some modification will be needed. Any help would be awesome. I'll try to attach some pictures in a little bit.

Light is mounted on the IWC front QD and light mount. I don’t understand: “ Also holds a shell?”. You need to ask the second question in a complete sentence.

@Sigma05 LOL I might venture to say that they were asking about the match saver on the fore grip.

  18. 3 hours ago, Sigfla said:

No just surprising but they did hurt. I sent some feedback to IWC so maybe if they produce a Gen2 it will be different. I don't know how prevalent an issue it is as IWC had never heard of anyone else having that problem. Its a common forend grip for a lot of clay and wing shooters though.

Well I know I have hear of people doing that against their weapon lights on the M4 platform.

Just found these.  They look awesome.  I wish they had a rear sight offering.  These are like Trijicon HD's.

Those are pretty interesting too! You're sparking my curiosity. I will wish someone had experience with the Benelli brand night sights.  You would think some people would since they were apparently sold out. LOL I wonder where all those people are at!?
