  1. I have both the esstac 7 round and vang comp 6 round cards. They both work fine. I wouldn’t want to lug a fully loaded M4 around with 7 extra rounds on the side for long. It gets heavy in a hurry for me. I think I prefer the 6 round cards. I’ve taken the adhesive backed Velcro off and it caused no damage and left no residue.

    Intro

Outstanding turn of events. Welcome to the forum. Clean up your M4 and properly lube it up for break in. It’s like operating a luxury car in my opinion. Have fun!
  3. I have both. The Vang Comp are slightly more rigid. Stiff is always better when advancing.
  4. Welcome to the forum JW. I’m with you. I wouldn’t be too concerned about stuff other than I also like my stuff to be near perfection as possible. Lol
  5. Exactlioto. Sounds very familiar.

    M2

My son could outrun both of my M2s. He doesn’t outrun my 1301 or M4.
  7. The 940 pro Tactical looks promising. I hope they get it right. I had a miserable time with a 930 tactical
  8. I like the new TTI too. In fact, I ordered one and they sent me the old style. I returned it. I told them that I wanted the new version and the man on the phone acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about. I’m not sure exactly how to get the new version.
  9. Briley handle on M4 and on 1301.
  10. I too would want exactly what I paid $2000.00 for. I’m not a rich man.
  11. I can’t imagine the choke causing a failure to cycle. I ran mine wet or well oiled during break in. The M4 seems to like to be lubed. Just a thought. I’ve not had a slug fail to cycle.
  12. That’s about what I paid for mine too.
  13. I ordered one directly from TTI. They sent me the old style and I sent it back. It was less than a year ago. I wasn’t impressed.
  14. I actually just put a Briley handle on my M4. It looks good, fits good with good clearances. I like it better than the stock handle. Seems like it will work nicely. I’ve only shot a few rounds with it. I’m not a competitive shooter.
  15. I don’t have any deformations or unusual wear under the hood. The 1301 has been flawless for about 400-500 rounds. I love it. I’ve said it before, it’s not a replacement for the M4. That said, I 100% trust the 1301T. If you can have both, you should.
  16. Dang. That’s not what I want to see. I suppose I should disassembled mine and see what’s going on.
  17. My M4 can be particular about lighter loads. I’m not sure it’s totally broken in yet. How many rounds does that take on average? Anyways, it is perfectly reliable with ammunition for which it was designed. God forbid I’ll ever have to actually use this gun in battle, but if I do, I won’t use the cheap Walmart target load if I can help it, lol. It stays cruiser ready with 00 buck in it. The 1301 has not failed once. I fully trust both of these shotguns. It’s great to own things that work.
  18. Yes. At least loosen the clamp. I haven’t taken it down yet though.
  19. I have the Vortex Venom mounted on the stock rail. It works well. I just wish it were motion activated.

    Bolt not locking

Lol. You’ll get used to how it runs.
  21. These are both fantastic shotguns. One does not replace the other. I’m fortunate to have both. The Magpul stock is mounted with a GG&G adapter. It works nicely. I think the Aridus adapter looks cleaner, but I couldn’t find it in stock at the time.
  22. I just bought an enhanced 1301 Tactical with a straight stock. 7 round mag tube. So far I love it. Light as a feather and reliable. Doesn't replace my M4, but I'm really enjoying this shotgun. I ordered a GG&G stock adaptor and a Magpul stock. I'll post up when I get it and install it. I couldn't find the Aridus adaptor in stock anywhere. That is a fine looking shotgun Kilyung.

I also have Mesa tactical side saddles, but I’ve learned to appreciate the Velcro cards.
