I'm usually going with Fed 00 Buckshot or Hordany AG 1 oz slug, but a lot of good options, depends mainly on distance you're confident to take a good shot. Heck, I've even hunted deer with a Desert Eagle once(would not recommend, my wrist didn't like it at all)

I've been using Holosun Venom at first for mine, then transitioned to Aimpoint Micro S-1(pretty pricy though). I think gunicorns.com and TruthAboutGuns have pretty good lists on this.

Hello folks, been thinking about getting new set of hunting clothes( https://gritroutdoors.com/apparel/hunting-clothing/ planning to buy from those folks since it's nearby so I can try stuff out and see what fits) for late fall/early winter since my old Sitka is pretty much all worn out at his point.. Does anyone have experience with Browning Jackets and Merino hoodies? Nearby store also has some decent Banded models, but not sure about those. Any advice is welcome!

Amen! One of the biggest reasons I absolutely love camo is 'cause of that. You can be rolling in dust n mud and 80% of the time noone gonna notice 😁

Does anyone have experience with Beretta Challenge Evo glasses? Pretty good deal nearby and I'm not sure if it's a good pair. I've read about 'em at https://blog.gritrsports.com/beretta-products-review-2022-part-1/ but still not really sure. Any advice is welcome!

What sort of scope would you use for elk? I'd assume at least like 2-12 or 4-12? Was thinking about getting Vortex Diamondback specifically for this purpose(deer and elk hunting). I'd assume you would need good scope covers https://gritrsports.com/optics/scopes/riflescopes/ too if you would want to make shots right away?
