  1. Hi everyone! New to forums so I figured I would say hi I am purchasing my first Benelli shotgun this week. The model # is 11715. I have done a bit of digging using the search function to find some recommended upgrades, one of which being a LimbSaver recoil pad. Does anyone know if the LimbSaver 10403 is the correct model number to replace the factory pad on the collapsable Benelli stock? I was also wondering if anyone has recommendations for a choke? I only plan to use this shotgun for home defense, target shooting, and occasionally skeet shooting. I do not plan to ever use this shotgun for hunting purposes. Any recommendations are appreciated and if there's something I didn't cover that I should also consider purchasing, please let me know!!
  2. Will M4 11707 reliably cycle and shoot low recoil slugs? I'm the "lucky" recipient of a large case of Fiocchi Low Recoil Aero Slug 1oz shells as a pre-Christmas gift. They're 2-3/4", 1oz, 1150FPS, low recoil. With the support/permission of the wife to buy a nice shotgun like my BIL's. Trouble is, his Panzer Gen4 AR-12 won't cycle these slug shells! Every one jams! His Panzer shoots 1150FPS bird/buck shot perfectly fine! The Panzer needs 1300FPS to 1500FPS slugs according to a the "Shotgun Guy" at a local gun shop. It seems the AR gas piston has trouble operating properly with low pressure slugs. We switched the Panzer's low velocity and high velocity pistons around for all mixes of shot and slugs. Low velocity slugs all failed, birdshot and buckshot at any velocity worked flawlessly. Nothing changed. Shotgun Guy suggested a higher quality shotgun. This Benelli M4 11707 uses a different cycling system than the cheap Turkish AR 12 gauge guns. Any insight before I spend $2,000 on another shotgun? Thanks in advance! Robert ( and Lisa )
  3. does anyone know for certain whether or not its possible to have your barrel profiled for choke tube usage on the 14 inch entry model? If so who can do this work, any recommendations. Thanks, Ren
  4. Had this on a Benelli Supernova that sat in a closet (now sold). Like new as its never seen a range. This one has the standard attachments for Supernova (other weapons as well I assume) and also QD attachments for any weapon that allows. Asking $60 shipped, USA only.
  5. Looking to get my hands on a Benelli M4 14” complete assembly barrel. If anyone has one they are looking to get rid of, contact me at: - (262) 939-5870 Vinnie
  6. I recently acquired a Promag M4 collapsing stock and it seems like the retaining pin is a common point of failure on these. I have seen other posts here mention replacing the pin but I am unsure how to access the pin. Has anyone done this before? Pictures or parts guides would be greatly appreciated.
  7. Since my last post was very informative, I figured I'd make one for parts and for 922r compliance. I'll start by first sharing the information I received via an email from the ATF. With that out of the way, I would like to know what are the best US made parts to get for upgrading a Benelli M4 11707 while making it 922r compliant. I'm wanting to get the 7 round tube and the collapsible stock. I'm aware of FFT and TTI as well as Carrier Comp. I've heard good things about the ladder and went ahead and ordered a full length titanium magazine tube from them. Since it comes with a follower, that would make 2 US parts and, based on my understanding, I would need 2 more parts replaced to have both the full length tube and collapsible stock. What other parts are worth replacing and by which manufacturer? I am also interested in getting the TTI extended carrier, the TTI oversized safety, the GG&G bolt release pad, and the GG&G charging handle: TTI Carrier: https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/tti-benelli-accuguide-extended-carrier/ TTI Safety: https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/tti-oversized-benelli-ultimate-safety/ GG&G Pad: https://www.gggaz.com/benelli-m4-tactical-bolt-release-pad.html GG&G Handle: https://www.gggaz.com/benelli-m4-tactical-charging-handle.html Are these parts worth it? Any additional information and advice would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Finished installing the new full length mag. Special thanks to @SOCOMguy for providing the mag and @StrangerDanger for the detailed instructions on install.
  9. I've saved up some money and I'm looking to get my first gun: a Benelli M4. As I've been reading up on it, I've gotten confused as there seems to be different models of it, some don't have interchangeable chokes, etc. At the very least, I know I want a pistol grip, the collapsible stock, and the 7 round magazine tube, but I've read that other parts should be replaced as well. Would anyone be willing to give me a simple 101 on the Benelli M4? What parts can and should be replaced, where to purchase one, and what other things should I know? I'm already aware of the benelliparts.com site, r/gundeals, and the Taran Tactical version.
  10. Changed out my forend and don't need these anymore. Will take $40 shipped.
