  1. Hi all. New to this group. Have been a happy Benelli M1 Super 90 Tactical (non pistol grip) owner for over 10 years. Anyways I took some weight measurements of the Nordic Components and Benelli charge handles with my Dillon beam scale. Thought others might be interested as I could not find this information before. Benelli charge handle 203.0 gr 13.15 g .4229 oz Nordic Components charge handle 151% heavier 306.6 gr 19.87 g .6388 oz Feel of the NC handle is worlds better. Just a tad sharpness to the outer edge but does not pose a problem in the direction of pull. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet and probably wont any time soon as I am stuck in the city. I tried to find a Ti non-rotating handle. Freedom Fighters Tactical has only a M4 version but when I emailed them I got the response " Keep an eye on our sight through the year end...". So keep your fingers crossed. Progressive Machine and Tools seems to be out of business (even though web site still up). If I have missed a company please speak up. -Scott
  2. I recently bought a Supernova Tactical. Being the tactical fanatic I am, the first thing I did was start buying accessories. Of course the first is the mag extension. I bought the Nordic Components because of all of the great reviews I've read. I love it! Only one question though. I installed the extension and clipped the spring as stated on the instructions (10-16" longer than the entire tube + extension). After finishing the install I realized that I could fit seven 2 3/4 shells into the tube. There is only about an additional half inch of movement after putting in the seventh. Will this cause too much stress on the spring? I'm sure it could after a while, but being that I use this as my patrol shotgun...the more rounds the merrier! Opinions please!
  3. I've searched through pages of threads here and I'm sure this information has to exist, but I either missed it or my search skills have failed me this week. I purchased an M2 tactical and I just added a Nordic +3 mag extension. It's very well made and I'm quite impressed with the fit and finish of their machine work. However, they suggest cutting the spring down to be between 10 and 16 inches longer than the mag and extension combined. I started at 18" and worked down to 10" and I am still only able to get 6 and "3/4" rounds of 2 3/4" 12 ga ammo in the tube. I tried both the factory M2 follower and the Nordic teflon coated follower with no change. Will it function with the spring cut down a bit more or am I destined to only get 6+1 in this shotgun? I'm setting up for a 3 gun match and I really needed the additional capacity. Thanks for any input.
