Turkeythugger
I just got my first benelli (supernova) and I don't want to damage the camo coating when I clean it. I was thinking of using rem oil (with moisture guard) to do it all. Will that work? I wanted something to be able to put on the barrel in case of small nicks in the coating. 12508
I have a camo M4 and I just use hoppe's elite to clean off dirt and smudges. I don't oil the finish at all. It is pretty tough in my experience. I have a spot on the barrel where the camo has flaked off and all it does is reveal grey parkerizing below it. You could keep any areas like that oiled. I would use another brand of oil like the one your gun came with or FP-10. I also have a small area on the handguard where the camo flaked off revealing the black plastic but I don't let it bother me.

Turkeythugger
Thanks! What do you think about rem oil with moisture guard? I called benelli and they said it would be fine to apply to the outside lightly. I think I might try to clean it with that too. Opinions?
