  1. This is an update to the post I made on Sept 18th here: https://forums.benelliusa.com/topic/24783-help-new-m4-bolt-hangingsticking/ . After contacting Benelli and them stating my brand spanking new M4 needed to go back, I sadly packed it up and shipped it out, including a note as to what was happening, and copies of the photos I had posted in the last post showing the damage to the extractor and where it was grinding against the side of the bolt and hanging up. Fast forward to today, and the gun returned, 40 days later. I did not receive any communication from Benelli beyond that the gun was being shipped back, IE no explanation as to the issue/work/repair done. I eagerly opened the box, and was surprised by what I found. Inside with this document, see attached pic, explaining the work that was done. In short, it looks like they modified/widened the extractor groove on the bolt head, checked tolerances, test fired, and . . . Thats it. Extractor still all gouged on the bottom side. I can confirm the gun was test fired, as it was not cleaned afterwards and was dirty with residue. I cleaned it up, oiled it, put it back together, and ran the bolt. At first the bolt was hanging up/not smooth, however things seem to smooth out a touch after a few racks, so not sure if it was because it was dirty or what. Note that I actually since then have purchased a M1014, and that bolt is buttery smooth, this one less so when racking side by side. I would be interested to know the thoughts of the collective. I am a patient guy, and have been for the 40 days I have been waiting for my brand new 2k gun to return. I guess I would say I am disappointed, but dont want to be overreacting either. Thoughts?
  2. I am trying to install the 70085 collapsible stock on my M4 (11713). The recoil spring tube is cut for three positions. The pistol grip went on fine. However when I try to put the stock on it won't rotate to the right. I have tried to follow the Rat Worx video on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpkKyPwHxNI), at the 1:30 mark. However, I can't get it to turn to the right after sliding it on at the 45 degree angle. It appears to me that the stock is not initially sliding far enough onto the recoil spring tube, but I'm not sure. When I get it as far as it will go and try to turn to the right it binds and I can't turn it. Any ideas or suggestions? The limited number of videos I've seen about installing this there doesn't seem to be any issues sliding this on and turning it, so I feel that there is something wrong with the stock (or possibly the tube)? Any ideas? The photo is looking into the stock tube. The retainer that retracts when the button is depressed is on the top (it looks slightly off center in the slot to me, but I don't know if that would cause installation problems). The retainer on the right does not retract.
  3. Selling an upgraded and never fired Benelli M1014 (M4). All OEM parts that were swapped out in the upgrade are included in the sale. All major work was done by an expert (known as @StrangerDanger in the forums). All parts sourced, including the shotgun, are approximately equal in total to the selling price (so price is firm and extremely fair). 4. Since my last post was very informative, I figured I'd make one for parts and for 922r compliance. I'll start by first sharing the information I received via an email from the ATF. With that out of the way, I would like to know what are the best US made parts to get for upgrading a Benelli M4 11707 while making it 922r compliant. I'm wanting to get the 7 round tube and the collapsible stock. I'm aware of FFT and TTI as well as Carrier Comp. I've heard good things about the ladder and went ahead and ordered a full length titanium magazine tube from them. Since it comes with a follower, that would make 2 US parts and, based on my understanding, I would need 2 more parts replaced to have both the full length tube and collapsible stock. What other parts are worth replacing and by which manufacturer? I am also interested in getting the TTI extended carrier, the TTI oversized safety, the GG&G bolt release pad, and the GG&G charging handle: TTI Carrier: https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/tti-benelli-accuguide-extended-carrier/ TTI Safety: https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/tti-oversized-benelli-ultimate-safety/ GG&G Pad: https://www.gggaz.com/benelli-m4-tactical-bolt-release-pad.html GG&G Handle: https://www.gggaz.com/benelli-m4-tactical-charging-handle.html Are these parts worth it? Any additional information and advice would be greatly appreciated.
