shotgunNoob
I currently have the MesaTactical SureShell 4-shot carrier on my SuperNova tactical. I love the looks of it and it seems very well made. But, according to them, this isn't designed for long term storage of shells. Also, as mentioned in other posts, I am having issues with the way the mounting screws mate with the aluminum receiver. I think one has already stripped out. Not sure... Either way, to avoid making things worse, I have been looking at various stock mounted shell carriers. I like the Blackhawk cheek pad/ammo carrier setup, but it seems too bulky. The shell carrier Cabelas sells also seems ok, but Ive heard it tends to slip...not good. This is a home defense shotty and I need better than that! Now, even though I own the Comfortech stock, I currently have the Steadygrip stock installed. This will, more than likely, be the one I stick with. So, any advice and/or opinions on who makes the best fitting/most durable shell carrier for this setup? Thanks.
shotgunNoob
Nobody here has a buttstock mounted shotshell carrier? I thought this item might be a fairly popular one. Well, hopefully one of you guys/gals will be able to help me out!! Thanks again.
Ethereal
In the past I've used one i picked up from 3gungear.com that pretty much sticks on with velcro anywhere that best suits you. That way you can rip it off if needed or swap it onto another shotgun. It holds 8 shells too.
