gundoc
First I like to say hello as this is my first post. My question is are the butt stocks from a M1 super 90 & M4 interchangeable ? Thanks for any help.
Centauro97
No. The M1 and M3 interchange but due to a change in the receiver the M2 and M4 are different. The rear of the trigger guard is an obvious difference, it blends into the buttstock on the M2 and M4. I only know because my dealer had all 4 variants in stock. gundoc
Thank you Centauro. I have an M4 but i'm waiting for a M1 entry gun to arrive. The M1 has a field stock. Any hint as to where would be the best place as in least expensive to buy a M1 pistol grip stock ?
Guest cleefurd
I have both an M1 I bought in 1994, and an M4 purchased this year. Both have pistolgrip stocks from their respective eras, and I can see no difference what-so-ever. The M4 stock is shelved since I put a collapsible stock on the M4. If you want the PG stock, let me know and I'll ensure it swaps onto the M1 with zero differences, plus I'll send photos of both receivers and stocks where they all mate to one another, including assembled photos to confirm they are in fact identical. The only hidden feature I have not evaluated prior to this post is recoil tube diameters. If they are the same then it's "all systems go".
