walt_l Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 it is time for new glasses and I wear tri-focules. when getting glasses for shooting, I know i need to see the front sight AND the target, are there any suggestions I should look into before ordering my new sunglasses? tucker301 Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 Seeing the front sight on a shotgun should be an afterthought. You need only be aware of the sight in the same sense that you are aware of the tip of your finger when pointing at a distant object. You are aware of the sight's presence, but you're not focused on it. Your primary concern is making sure that your glasses will allow you to see the target clearly and that peripheral vision is as unrestricted as possible.
