Duggan Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 Well, I'll put it this way: When I did this operation, I didn't even have snap ring pliers (still dont). I used a cold steel knife and a screwdriver to force the ring off by brute force. I was/am 100% fine ... if you use the right tool you should be golden.
