New to the forums, just got myself a Benelli M2 tactical a few weeks ago, but with the standard stock, because I live in f**&*% NJ and the pistol grips are illegal (makes it an "assault weapon" - sheesh). Does NJ have any gun laws NY doesn't have regarding assault weapons? If you are the same as NY, then you are most definitely allowed to have a "protruding pistol grip stock" ... so long as you don't have a collapsible stock, mag capacity over 5 rounds, a flash hider or a bayonet lug.
