shootinbob
I just bought my third SBE II which was to be a duplicate of one I already own. While the LOP is the same the plastic part of the butt is longer and the recoil pad is thinner. I always liked the fact that the SBE II was soft recoiling but it looks like this new one will be less so. Why the change?
tucker301
Did you buy the gun new or used?
shootinbob
Both were new in the box. They went through some trouble to change the tooling to make this change. I wonder why and wonder if the new one will have stiffer recoil as a result.
ranmcc
I also recently bought a new SBE II and noticed the difference in guns. They now have three pads of different lengths. You got the middle size just like mine. Done so to extend lOP for some folks. I also would rather have the thicker pad with the old stock.
